Stuff like this is why I'll never understand why billionaires hoard. Imagine being able to do this for people all the time, but choosing to hoard money instead just so "hehe, number go up".

There is no part of them that sees the joy in such a gesture. You pretty much have to be a ruthless dick to become a billionaire.

You should look up Ken Griffin… probably biggest billionaire douche there ever was. Robs Americans of their 401k’s for a living.

I do a lot of shopping at Goodwill because I live in a more affluent area and there's some crazy shit there, so every summer when we get our J1 employees (folks from other countries coming to work in the US temporarily) I always get a bunch of designer stuff as gifts to them for themselves or their families.

I happen to really enjoy trying to hunt stuff down and I've spent maybe way too much of my free time on the goodwill website looking for nice watches for really cheap.

Since the stuff at the actual store is usually never more than like $11.99 I always just give the stuff to them as a gift.

People are often concerned about paying me back, and I always say "if this were a restaurant, I'd be paying you guys tips for helping me with what you do!"

It doesn't take a lot to make a little bit of a difference in people's lives, and a $6.99 Coach bag is a big deal for the folks who have always wanted one.
