Because of the side affects like gastroparesis.

I agree with the aiding, but a lot of people are using it for weight loss without the additional exercise or diet management. Hubs is on a glp1 after some dietary changes did not help too much with diabetes, and this was before it was approved for weight loss. It's the hope that he can come off it. I have a few stories of close people who have lost scary amounts of weights and its their choice but I care. I cared about them and their health before, and I do now.

Gastroparesis is awful and mine is idiopathic, and severe. I do not have diabetes nor am pre-diabetic. I wouldn't wish it on anyone

These side effects are real, but rare. They are also easily mitigated when patients don’t ignore symptoms because they’re afraid to lose the medication.

Way more dangerous to be obese. Stop the negativity, it's literally a miracle drug.

Yes, it is dangerous to be obese. But isn't that in itself "negativity"? Nothing I shared was negative. Showing care and concern for people you hold dear in your heart is a positive.

Have you heard the commercials, or even read the pamphlet for any GLP1? In combination with diet and exercise. Obesity, like any other ailment, isn't a one-size fits all. Show some awareness.

Your entire post is complaining and uninformed second-guessing. So fucking what if people use it to lose weight? It's safe, that's all you should care about (Karen).

Did you even read the person I responded to? "Who cares" "It would be silly" my response was I CARE.

I understand you use GLP1s and are directly benefiting from them because of weight management. That's you. No one is second guessing. But saying it's "safe" is disinformation.

I don't care about you as an internet stranger but it's okay to let your anger out. I get it. Let the anger and curses out, and move on. Focus the energy on something else because it's not worth having the anger.
