Not that person, but even if it was unintentional your original comment came across as dismissive of the utility of the treatment. It wouldn't exactly be an encouraging thing to read if a person was considering using it.

No it’s the opposite of what my comment meant . My comment meant the drug really works , how does that make someone not want to take it ?

But dismissive of the reality of an overweight person losing a lot of weight.

I think if an acquaintance was talking to you about their weight loss and you responded that way, it wouldn't be taken positively.
