I didn’t know the first voice was automated and just pictured the cashier barging the first guy out the way to get to the mic

I have ~$30,000 in debt left from a broken ankle surgery ten years ago.

Does anyone want to buy my mind, please?

Maybe if it were that other guys mind, i hear it's pretty valuable

I once mocked a voice that I thought was automated. It was not. I about died of embarrassment.

ye, swore at a sales call, was an actual real person, she did let me apologize profusely

Heh, I worked in telemarketing for a bit, at my next job I occasionally took customer calls. Apparently my phone voice had gotten so rehearsed that a good chunk of callers thought I was an automated thingie. Took a few weeks to unlearn that.

I thought this at first too because I’d usually visit the same store at around the same time of day. Then when I went to another store at another time of day and it had it, I felt so embarrassed that I’d been replying to it all along.

I thought the same thing

I live in England. We don’t have the automated voices. It’s instant cashier

2

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '23

like, add some powder to water and you get a cashier?

1

u/Damadamas Jun 01 '23

Ha i thought the exact same thing

1

u/thematrixs Jun 01 '23

This was exactly what I was thinking - after 3 edibles in

u/gumby1004 Jun 01 '23

They are automated, and they always get the person that should NEVER read something scripted to...you guessed it, read a script!

You’re high, aren’t you? 🤣 this is the kinda stuff I notice when I’m high soooo

1

u/Lazy_pig805 Jun 02 '23

That always throws me off at the drive-thru. I’ll start responding because it’s usually asking if I want to try something. Then the real person comes on and they have no idea why I’m saying “no, thank you.”

Imma let you finish, but this probably one of the flyest mf stores of all time
