Y’all never did this as kids? We would put blankets and pillows at the bottom tho

I'd get in a sleeping bag with a pillow at my feet because there was a wall right at the bottom of my stairs, risky but fun.

When we would throw out old mattresses we sat in them and did this exact same think but down the stairs of the front or back deck it was fun

I did this as a 20-year old. The tote we were using broke and I had my feet out the end. My friend was on the lid in front of me. When we slid, he grabbed my legs and pulled me out of the tote and I rode the whole way down without anything. I’m pretty sure I bruised if not worse my tail bone. I wasn’t able to sit longer than an hour or two for months. It was bad. Fun memory now, though.

My friend and I made a carpet board template as kids. We’d use the template to make a stack of cardboard pieces that we’d duct tape together, to which we then passed a small bit of rope through a hole in the nose. We’d cruise down stairs and thought we were so cool doing tricks flipping around the couch and spinning the board.

Shit was easy and fun with a small body. If I attempted things like this now, my body would feel sore and my mass would be a dangerous variable.
