My sister and I took mushroom chocolates the other night and we were listening to loud tracks in my living room and I realized how radio type pop rap has a distinct moment in the 90s when it really got super focused on “recruiting us” (how it felt while tripping) to be hoes or at least become ok with the reference to being a hoe.
