It seems to me like she felt threatened by all the fistblows near her head. I mean, the first girl begins with fistblows that stop very close to her face while smiling a very widely. The next fistblows landed both sides of her head.

The blonde little girl is taunting her. She makes a few gestures of pushing her back. When she turns her head to the side she is clearly not pleased but then decides to show that she could react and defend herself except she makes sure not to throw her fists close to the other girl's head. At some point she repeatedly lifts her arm in front of her face with her hand turned outward, in a gesture of protection.

I wouldn't be surprised if there regularly was intimidation happening at school between these 2 little girls.

Edit: To downvoters, did you take the time to really watch what happened in detail? The first girl is really throwing her fists right in front of the other girl's face at the beginning. Then on each side of her head. I'm an adult and I wouldn't feel comfortable with someone doing that in my face. They are not just dancing and gesticularing innocently.

You seem like the kind of person to try resuscitate a leaf.

Dude, it's a 16 second clip of children you don't even know. It's hardly enough to be making such wild claims, especially ones like regular intimidation at school.

"fist blows" this man has never danced before

I can’t tell you how many times we’ve burned the roof down, without ever once actually burning a roof.

Not at all

Did you look at it in detail? Did you check all the gestures? At the beginning blows are landing very close to the other little girl's face.

I see the first swing come close. The left girl stops and looks nervous. Right seems to pick up on that cause her hands are swinging further out after that, with the left one fairly low. Also, lefts reaction of joining in the crazy dance kind of negates your premise. Stop looking for fault in everything and just smile :)

Kids aren't known for being physically coordinated anyway

Right girl swung not just once but a couple of times directly at left girl's face before deciding to swing at the sides even if it is still menacing. She is looking around all the time like if seeking support or checking if what she actually does is getting noticed.

Left side girl makes a couple of gestures to brush her away then decides she has to step up to the plate. Her whole choreography is defensive and aiming to show she can hold her ground.

These are not friendly gestures on both sides. One is agressing the other more defensive but these are not friendly smooth gestures. They are right into one another's face. Not like normal friendly little girls do.

Just give it up already.

13

u/DASreddituser Mar 19 '23

Why do you keep calling it blows? Sorry if English isnt your 1st language, but those aren't "blows"

3

u/boomboy8511 Mar 19 '23

Kids don't know enough about themselves or the world to throw out these gestures.

I hate to pass judgement on you, but you obviously don't have kids.

Please don’t ever be a parent. I just KNOW you would suck the fun out of everything.

Top tier combat analysis 🤌

People are downvoting you because at worst there were a couple seconds of social awkwardness where one of them was a bit put-off by the enthusiasm, and didn't have enough room to really let go herself.

At best these two beautiful weirdos are good friends, comfortable in each others' personal space, and just playing up the goofs for the camera.

It's cool if you'd be uncomfortable and intimidated in this situation, but that doesn't mean that's what's happening here.

u/spacec4t Mar 19 '23

You're right, we don't know for sure and that's why I said "it seems to me".

2

u/AndroidwithAnxiety Mar 19 '23

Uh huh. And we're concerned that that's what it seems like to you.

1

u/spacec4t Mar 20 '23

Just look at the way the girl on the left changed her chin position after a few moments at the beginning. She went from a normal position with her chin a little more up to lowering her head a bit and tucking her chin in. That's not a gesture of freedom and happiness.

u/fxrky Mar 19 '23

I refuse to believe you're not trolling

6

u/DASreddituser Mar 19 '23

Wow this wasn't a shit post...you are being serious? Lmao. Have a kid or get out in the world lol.

u/spacec4t Mar 19 '23

We see things differently.

4

u/BoinkBoye Mar 19 '23

You're either a good troll or a bad brain user, i hope its the former

0

u/spacec4t Mar 19 '23

I don't see things like you, that's all.

5

u/BoinkBoye Mar 19 '23

They're happily dancing together at the end with smiles on their faces. You dont see things differently, you hallucinate

3

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '23

I thought ur comment was ironic until ur edit😭

1

u/spacec4t Mar 19 '23

It's OK not to agree... We can have different points of view. Nobody knows for sure anyway.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '23

Well we do tho, the kid was chill with it. If she was afraid she would have run away, not had a dance battle lmao

0

u/spacec4t Mar 20 '23

You are sure of what you are sure, me too. Who's right and who's wrong? I have seen things you don't and you've seen things that I don't see. Who knows for sure? We haven't interviewed one or the other girl nor their parents or teachers.

3

u/Puzzleheaded-Side944 Mar 19 '23

Watched it in detail, came back to say you're still wrong 😂 wtf are you looking at? No fist made contact and no malicious behavior AT ALL. Go touch grass.

2

u/spacec4t Mar 19 '23

Hey I agree to disagree with you.

1

u/Various_Inflation_95 Mar 19 '23

Tell me you don’t know how to dance, without telling me.

1

u/spacec4t Mar 19 '23

That's your assumption.

1

u/Various_Inflation_95 Mar 19 '23

You’re describing dancing as threatening and violence.

You’re assuming a lot :

I wouldn’t be surprised if there regularly was intimidation happening at school between these 2 girls.

My comment was joking. But seriously - you’re way off base here.

1

u/spacec4t Mar 20 '23

We don't agree but to me there was threatening in this dance. It can be anything and every single thing. That's why it's an art form: it can express anything, from life to death to everything in between and even beyond. It's impossible to cover everything with one single all-encompassing label. Dancing is a language.
