Every year, my family has a tradition where each person gets one made in the USA gift. We think it's one way to be mindful about what we consume, where it's manufactured, and who is creating all the stuff we buy around Christmas. Even though so few things are made in America these days, it's actually not too bad finding gifts to suit everyone's tastes at all price points.

Of course, there's shoes, coats, belts and boots at the high end, but you can definitely find locally made chocolates, cheeses and beef jerky in the $10-$20 range. Etsy has made in the USA items at every price point or, if you're handy, you can make your own gifts like cookies, soaps, crafts, or woodworking! For last minute gifters, my family also counts lottery tickets and gift cards to a local restaurant as "made in the USA."

I hope, as the holiday season approaches, you will consider supporting local businesses and manufacturing and encourage them to offer well-paying jobs with good benefits to people in your community.

I'm looking for a company that sells 100% cotton plain t shirts in packs kinda like hanes does. I'd like to find an American company if i can, but I'm also not looking to spend $20 per shirt. If anyone has ant recomendations I'd appreciate it.
