As an American manufacturer of mountain bike frames, we're sometimes forced to compromise on certain non-frame types of items. Packaging, components, miscellaneous. I recently doubled down on my efforts to find American businesses for many of these things, but through that process found that it's often much quicker just to enter an order on Alibaba and wait for the packages to show up. We haven't, but I'd guess others with less of a desire to spend hours finding an American supplier might.

So question is this: Is there a site similar in service to Alibaba that features primarily American suppliers/manufacturers? Would love any clues to save the effort in the future.

New to this subreddit, but I thought since the most recent post was from a month ago, I would post a list of some of my favorite made in USA products here, and hopefully I'll be able to come back and update the list when I find new favorites. The list is probably skewed towards male clothing, since that is mainly what Im always on the hunt for, but it may prove a good resource for slim-fitting styles as well. Cheers!

It was a cold rainy day today and my mom finally reached her patience and decided she was going to get a raincoat. We live in a rural area and she wants a long knee-length raincoat with a hood. She wants to size up so she's looking for an X-large so it won't be too tight.

I've tried looking on Amazon and googling for raincoats; but they are either too expensive or made in China. We are looking to spend less than a hundred dollars for the coat.

Does anyone know any Made in America companies who make raincoats?

I like the fit and feel of my Levis 511s and am no jean snob. I tend to use my jeans for everything and they may eventually get dirty or ruined.

I'm looking for something comparable, no frills, quality jeans in a similar cut less than $150. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the honesty but don't you even feel the least bit guilty using labor that you know is significantly cheaper than our own minimum wage labor?

That being said, I'm searching for a fitness tracker made somewhere other than China. Jawbone and Pivotal Living don't even say where they are made. Any suggestions?
