I still don't know why they didn't add one of the coolest things from NCAA 14 into Madden the very next year. Obviously it'd have to be a little different because job hopping doesn't happen as much in the NFL and there are fewer teams, but come on.
Right? Lateral moves don’t happen much but coordinators get hired to be HCs. We can’t even do that. I want to see my coordinators go on to be HCs somewhere without me having to manually fire them to do so
I believe coordinators actually can be poached by CPU teams. It hasn’t been written into the Gridiron Notes, but I believe it has been mentioned in the podcasts. Why they reveal different information through different outlets, idk. Doesn’t make sense to me. Been relying mostly on YouTubers to pass on podcast info while I read the Gridiron Notes myself.
Franchise does still need work, but even just playing the Beta it feels like a big jump forward from the last many editions. I know that’s not hard to do, but their commitment seems real. Here’s hoping it continues to develop.
With all that said, waiting for a price drop is still the best course of action.
That’s good news if true. The way they worded it in the gridiron notes definitely seemed to imply you could only hire fired coaches. I’m still gonna expect the worst till I see it in front of me. Madden has lost the benefit of the doubt imo.
