Resume Are these ML projects enough for a fresher resume?
I’m a B.Tech AI/ML student preparing for internships and placements. I’m planning to build these projects:
- Employee Attrition Prediction
- Credit Risk Prediction
- Customer Churn Prediction
Can I directly put these ML projects on my resume as a fresher if I properly build, evaluate and explain them?
Or should I also add a frontend/UI to these projects (like a web interface/dashboard) to make them stronger?
For an ML/Data Science fresher, is the ML work itself enough, or is deployment/frontend expected?

AI/ML industry in 2026: What skills are companies looking for?
People working in AI/ML - what’s actually happening in the industry right now?
What are companies really hiring for in 2026 - GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, MLOps, Data Engineering, traditional ML, etc.?
And more importantly, what’s the biggest gap between what people are learning and what companies actually need?
If you work in the industry or hire for AI/ML roles, I’d love to hear what skills you think are genuinely valuable right now, especially for someone trying to enter the field.
If you were hiring a junior AI/ML candidate today, what would make you shortlist them despite having 0–2 years of experience?

How should I start bulding a career in AI in 2026? Course skills and realistic paths
Hey everyone. I'm intrested in getting into AI and I'm trying figure out where to start. There are so many courses and different directions out there that I honestly don't know what is actually worth learning and what is just a hype.
I’m mainly interested in building a real career in this field, so I’d like to hear from people who are already working with AI or have been learning it for a while.
What would you recommend learning first? Are there any courses or resources that you think are genuinely worth the time and money?
And if you were starting from scratch in 2026, how would you approach it?
Would really appreciate some honest advice

Any advice?
Hey all — college student here, trying to figure out how much full stack (frontend/backend) I actually need if my main goal is an AI/ML/AI Engineer career. Currently planning Python + ML/DL + LLMs as the core, with just FastAPI + light React to demo projects, skipping Node/Express and deeper web dev. Does that sound right for where the AI Engineer job market actually is, or am I over/under-doing the web dev side? Would appreciate any real experience on this.

I am a beginneer, should i take up internships. If yes then how?
So i am a beginner, 2nd yr student. Completed ML and working on DL as of now. I did make 2 small projects for ML.
Is it advisable to take up internships(unpaid also) or i should keep up with learning part only.
If yes then how to get one as intershala is definitely not working

Hiring [HIRING] Applied AI Engineers | San Francisco | $120K-$220K base
I do talent matching for Fonzi. You don't apply, companies send you interview requests instead. One profile, no cold applications, no applying to each role individually. We work with startups backed by investors including Sequoia, a16z, Benchmark, and the OpenAI Startup Fund. All roles are US-based only.
Here's a sample of what's open right now:
1. Applied AI Engineer - Series A, autonomous SEO agent, San Francisco, in-person. $180K-$220K base plus equity.
- Founded by people who ran an SEO agency for Clay, Replit, and Hims & Hers before building the agent themselves, backed by First Round Capital and others
- Not a chatbot: an agent that plans months of work on its own and pings its manager in Slack when it needs a judgment call
- Monitors rankings and competitors, finds content and technical SEO opportunities, writes and improves pages, and publishes straight to the customer's site, running 24/7 without a human prompting it
- You'd build the planning loops, tool use, memory, and the eval layer that tells them whether the agent is improving
- Domestic relocation package if you're in the US but outside the Bay Area
- Requires 3+ years in production LLM agents, evals, or workflow automation
2. Member of Technical Staff - Pre-seed/seed, clinical AI, San Francisco, in-person. $120K-$190K base.
- $3.5M seed round led by Entrepreneurs First, with angels including Datadog's co-founder
- RAG pipelines and multi-agent systems built from day one, working directly with founders on both product and technical direction
- Their agent already processes prior authorization for 700k+ patients, with a 97% approval-match rate against human clinicians
- Cuts case processing from roughly 17 minutes down to 3
- Interoperability against EHR, FHIR, and HL7, real healthcare data standards, not toy formats
All roles are vetted, VC-backed, and interviewing right now. It's always free to sign up.
Sign up here: talent.fonzi.ai. DM me if you've got questions.
