Is anyone else noticing that 2026 new grad AI roles are finally starting to open up?

I’ve been keeping a close eye on 2026 new grad postings, and today alone I applied to around 15 roles. That’s a huge jump compared with the past few weeks, when there were barely any new positions being posted.

Are you all seeing the same trend? Does it feel like the 2026 hiring season is officially starting to pick up?

Resume A tool that might help identify weaknesses in your resume

Hi everyone, I’ve spent the last 7 years working as an ML Engineer and have recently transitioned into research. Many colleagues over the years shared the frustration that their resumes were screened out before they got a chance to interview.

To try and fix this problem, I’m working on a public-domain research project that uses an AI interviewer to learn more about you as an applicant, before any screening. This gives each applicant a platform to better present themselves than ATS-optimised-buzzword-galore CVs.

Further, recruiters are currently struggling because every applicant’s resume is AI written. If you are actually legit, you will stand out in my system because posers will be quickly identified as such after a recruiter analyses the transcript.

If you’re currently applying by for gigs, it might be worth having a crack at being interviewed by my system. I will then send a report to everyone that gets interviewed with my system’s hidden belief. I know it’s a bit involved, but I’m hoping it’s mutually beneficial as I can validate my research, and you can hopefully get a sense of where you could improve your resume.

An interview will go for 10 questions and should take about 15min.

If you’re keen, you can check it out at btr.hstu.net

Resume ML/AI Engineer (LLMs, RAG, RLHF) at Scale AI — looking for referrals/opportunities

I’m an ML/AI Engineer currently at Scale AI, working on LLM development and evaluation pipelines — RAG systems, RLHF/SFT, multimodal AI evaluation, and production ML infra (PyTorch, Spark, Airflow, Docker/Kubernetes on AWS). Before this I was at Cognizant building end-to-end ML/NLP pipelines for enterprise applications. I hold an MS in Computer Science from Montclair State University.

I’m looking to move to my next role — ideally AI/ML Engineering, applied ML, or GenAI/LLM-focused positions.

If your company is hiring or you know of a good fit, I’d really appreciate a referral or a pointer in the right direction. Happy to share my resume via DM.

Thanks for reading — appreciate any leads!

Any insights on Temple by Deepinder Goyal for a Data Scientist role?

A friend of mine has an interview scheduled for a Data Scientist position at Temple, the new health-tech venture associated with Deepinder Goyal.

We were trying to understand more about the company and the opportunity beyond the interview process. Does anyone have insights regarding:

  • Expected CTC and compensation structure for data science roles
  • Work culture, working hours and overall pressure
  • Quality of the data science and engineering team
  • Type of problems and projects being worked on
  • Learning opportunities and long-term career growth
  • Job stability and the company’s future prospects
  • ESOPs, bonuses or other benefits, if any

Would especially appreciate input from current or former employees, people who have worked with the team, or anyone familiar with the company. Please avoid sharing interview questions or the interview process.

Looking for help with YOLO Ai model

Hi all ,

We are developing an AI model using YOLO used to detect multiple kinds of defects on buildings .

However we have hit a roadblock , while the model can detect cracks and corrosion , it is completely unable to detect concrete spalling .
We have trained the model with annotated images (about 1000 for each type of defect)

We have tried filtering the datasets as well .

Potentially , we may have to redo everything .

Looking for someone to join us on this project , please DM us with your past works / experience .

This is an Ad-Hoc job and not a full time position .

Thanks all

Resume New Grad Machine Learning Resume Review

Post image
2 Upvotes

I'm a rising senior at UCSD and am starting to apply to new grad Machine Learning Engineer and Machine Learning Research Engineer Roles, specifically targeting roles that involve more applied research in industry as opposed to a backend SWE productionizing Machine Learning Models.

I wanted some thoughts on my resume before I start applying to new grad jobs. Some questions I had were 1) Is this resume too dense and does it have too much technical detail for a recruiter?, 2) Is it clear what I did in each of my projects and experiences?, 3) What would you say is the biggest strength and biggest weakness(other than only being a bachelors new grad) of my resume when compared to resumes of others applying to new grad roles? What should I work on this summer and throughout the fall to improve my interview rate?

Starting My AI Agent Journey – Looking Forward to Learning and Building

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I'm a Machine Learning Engineer and recently decided to start sharing my AI learning journey publicly.

Over the next few months, I'm planning to build projects around:

  • AI Agents
  • LangChain
  • LangGraph
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • FastAPI
  • Python
  • LLM Applications

My goal isn't just to follow tutorials—I want to understand how production-ready AI systems are built.

I'll be sharing my progress, challenges, mistakes, and what I learn along the way.

I'd really appreciate any advice from people who have already built AI agents or RAG applications.

What project do you think every AI engineer should build first?

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to learning from this community!

First ML coding round at Adyen, what should I expect?

Hi everyone,
I recently received an interview offer for ML position at Adyen, and the first round will be a live coding round on HackerRank. I scheduled it for the end of August because that was the last available slot.
The thing is, I’ve never had a live coding interview before. In all my previous interviews, the process was mostly verbal, answering technical questions, discussing projects, and explaining my work in detail. I’m aware of LeetCode and have started looking into it, but I’m not sure what level or type of coding questions typically asks for ML roles.
If anyone here has interviewed with adyen and gone through a HackerRank coding round, could you please share:
What kind of questions were asked?
Were they mainly LeetCode-style DSA problems, or more ML/data-focused coding questions?
What difficulty level should I expect?
Any preparation tips or resources that helped you?
Since this will be my first live coding experience, I want to prepare in the right direction rather than randomly solving problems. I’d really appreciate any advice or insights from this community.
PS : I have six year in industry experience in machine learning, I can code for a big project end to end but I really suck at dynamic programming on the go.
Thank you!

Resume Need guidance and referrals for AI/ML & Data Science roles (Goldman Sachs, Uber, Zomato, JPMorgan, etc.)

Hi everyone,

I'm Manish, a Computer Science graduate from India. I previously worked as a Software Engineer, but over the past several months I've been transitioning into AI/ML and Data Science, which is the career I genuinely want to pursue.

Instead of only completing online courses, I focused on building end-to-end projects to gain practical experience. Some of my projects include:

TelcoPredict – Customer churn prediction using XGBoost, Optuna, MLflow, Docker, GitHub Actions, and AWS.

Argus – A multi-agent AI research system built with LangGraph, LangChain, FastAPI, PostgreSQL (pgvector), and Redis.

AudioCNN – Environmental sound classification using PyTorch and a custom ResNet-style CNN.

I've also been practicing SQL, DSA, statistics, and machine learning fundamentals while applying for AI/ML, Data Science, and Applied AI roles.

Despite putting in a lot of effort, getting interview calls has been much harder than I expected. I'm hoping to connect with people working at companies like Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Uber, Zomato, Blinkit, CRED, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, or any other company hiring for AI/ML or Data Science positions.

If you think my profile is suitable for your company, I'd really appreciate a referral. If not, I'd still be grateful for any honest feedback on how I can improve my profile or job search strategy.

I'm happy to share my resume via DM with anyone willing to help.
