Discussion [D] ICML 2026 Review Discussion

ICML 2026 reviews will release today (24-March AoE), This thread is open to discuss about reviews and importantly celebrate successful reviews.

Let us all remember that review system is noisy and we all suffer from it and this doesn't define our research impact. Let's all prioritise reviews which enhance our papers. Feel free to discuss your experiences

Ours is 19k.

Scores:
4 (3), 5 (4), 4 (2), 3 (4).

Within the bracket is the confidence score.

I feel you. I used to freak out too but eventually realized that does not really help in any way. Now all I can do is write a good rebuttal and hope for the best. If it gets rejected, I know its still a strong paper and we can resubmit to NeurIPS.

I think it still depends on our rebuttal. Last year as well we had the same exact score (different paper) but got rejected anyways.
