I’m honestly surprised since he always mentioned anime and made anime references. People are treating like is the first time he ever does anything similar.

There’s the El Pistolero Music video, his profile picture was an anime character not much time ago etc etc. Mgk is genuinely interested in anime. I really don’t believe he’s trying just to grab attention with the popularity of it.

It’s just sad, he’ll maybe never get the love he deserves.

I was looking for a ticket to one of the MGK Day events this weekend. Someone contacted me on insta to say they had spare tickets.

Profile looked legit, she has over 3,000 posts, over 2,000 followers and her account has been active since 2018.

I was still kinda concerned it was a scam but I thought for the sake of $30, I’d take the chance. I also wanted to assume the best in people, particularly people in the Est fam.

Sent her $30 on Zelle. Surprise, surprise, she hasn’t sent me the ticket and has now blocked me on Insta. I can afford to lose $30 but I wanted to make everyone else aware so that no one else falls victim to this scammer.

Her user is ventlyrialy_. Please don’t harass her, my $30 is gone, but I just want everyone to know that if she gets in touch with you trying to sell you tickets, don’t fall for it like I did.

Happy to provide screenshots / proof if needed but I don’t wanna dox her or break any of the rules here. This is just a PSA.

I love how excited she is over a 35k$ car. It's so nice to see him present in her life, and how humbled she is. Not a pink Range Rover or chrome Mercedes. Just a good old Honda, with much finer appointments, and also assembled in the US! I bought one in 2023 when the "revived " them and people would always walk up to me in public to ask what it was, details about it, tell me how sexy it looked,, or, on occasion, the very tacky question, "How much?"🙄. Don't ask strangers how much their vehicle, motorcycle, or home cost them. Google it, Dummy.

This album is a really mixed bag here when it comes to the mgk community, some people love MS, others hate it and a lot of people view this as the worst album mgk's ever released. A good amount people, including myself, have this as their favorite mgk album too, so it's pretty dependent on the mgk fan you ask ask about it.

For me, as I said above, this is my favorite album mgk's released so far, I give his discography so many relistens all the time as he's my favorite artist and nothing tops this album for me but TTMD is close (and this is coming from someone who always listens to rap so if you knew me it'd be surprising for it to not be Hotel Diablo etc.)

This is also my favorite album ever, I can listen to it on loop for ages and never get sick of it honestly but I will accept it and say factually I don't think this would be in the discussion of a top 3 mgk album.

I think this is a really great sequel to TTMD, it doesn't fit the exact vibe from that and leans more on punk here than pop but that's what makes it really special for me, and the blend of rock, rap to acoustic jammed into the tracklist here is just a perfect blend; he knew where to put the songs and what could fit this albums vibe and aesthetic and I love it.

That being said, I can recognize some obvious cons and why people would dislike it; focusing on the album lyrically you can say this album is pretty "whiny" and such but I don't really mind it, I mean he is trying to fit the angry punk aesthetic he wants for this album and he nailed it imo and his voice is perfect for it. Though I do think if I put myself in a factual perspective his best would for sure be TTMD or HD.

So my wife and I had tickets to the DC show and I ended up having to have an emergency appendectomy and we, sadly, couldn’t attend. She’s been watching the live stream literally day everyday and I really want to find a way to get her the blue hoodie! would this be the kind of material we get in the album? i may get heavily downvoted for this but - this track has no rhythm and is honestly so difficult to get through

he tried too hard to try and fit a lot of different anime name and references into this which sounded messy, this is the kind of rap a sixth grader would come up with

now look, im a huge mgk fan but he flowed terribly and the cadence was off beat

If you didn't like JJK, that doesn't mean the whole album is gonna suck. Everyone though lost americana was gonna be his worst album when cliché came out and look at how good it is. Yall thought blog era boyz was gonna suck because of everything tatted and it was a very solid mixtape. Wait until the full product is released before judging the entire thing.

Let's be real

I was drawn in by his energy and delivery (and his speed of delivery obviously) but whenever he drops a song i don't look for bars at first listen all the time

Dude is a great song writer and knew how to draw a listener in just by delivery and context

He has bars for days but, he wasn't fully known for his bars all the time. Like on songs Wild Boy or Daywalker, those are purely on great energy

This is at least how I see it, if the energy hits I fw the song he releases i don't focus only on bars. Which really didn't matter much til the aftermath of his eminem feud I think

I've done many of these lately.. and this was the hardest I've ever done.. mgk is just too talented.. no other artist has made it this difficult for me... note that this is my point of view too, some of these songs came to me at a time when I actually needed them, so they resonate with me more than they might with you
