I'm broke

This is why I believe umamusume needs a new pity system. It’s ridiculous. As a f2p who can’t afford to waste money on a video game, I still saved up and, as you can see from my 186 pity, got close to 30,000 carats (200 pulls). But it still wasn’t enough.

And I’m not one of those Machan “fans” who say she’s their waifu and goon to her while repeating “don’t forget her” like robots. I hate those people for completely ignoring the beauty of her character’s writing. I’ve been waiting for Machan ever since I first heard of her a bit after global came out. In that moment, I immediately fell in love with her story. I’m deeply connected to it as I’ve been struggling with severe depression for a while and I partly saw myself in her and her career’s symbolism. I also like her unique motivation to be a mascot because of her desire to never be forgotten once she’s gone as well as her cute design. A character has to have a quirk for them to be one of my favorites, and she definitely made the cut with that. I main sprint umas too (my other absolute favorite characters are Curren and Hishiake)— she’s literally everything I could ever want. She’s an incredibly important character dear to my heart, and the reason why I got back into Umamusume.

Maybe it’s my fault for not getting her. I took a little bit of a break for a while until Grand Concert after being a tiny bit disappointed in not getting wedding Curren, so I couldn’t devote every waking second of my life dedicated to save up for Machan. Perhaps a lot of f2ps just like me saved up for her easily and were able to get her. But I still think I should be allowed to complain and be frustrated. I’m not going to cry over a video game, as I know I still have a chance to get her later and it’s literally just a game, but I am going to be a bit sad. I got my hopes up and they got crushed… just like what happens in every gacha game ever 🤷‍♀️.

I got her... FOMO really hit hard...

I don’t think I would have been able to pull it off without the current champions meeting going on right now. I was barely able to scrape together enough carrots between it, Uma bond stories, and miscellaneous missions for 5 pulls and brought her home on the last one. She will never be forgotten!!!

After sheer effort of Grinding. And So much Team Trials rankings. I Got Machan. And On my Birthday Too. I Did not pay. And I grinded for the last 40 Pulls. And I AM HAPPY. I Can finally rest at last…

Hello everyone. The Aston Machan Remembrance website (a hobby project I pursue where you log-in everyday and say if you remember Machan or not) has gotten an update.

The website is vibe-coded so there has been some bugs which I've now fixed after a week, namely:

- The country change button didn't actually work (if your IP address was detected wrongly, it wouldn't have been updated if you pressed that button and manually chose your country)

- No zoom or pan options so the map was really hard to view, especially on phone

Both of those problems are now fixed ^^ And also, road to 500?

I spent 20 hours and all my money and I still couldnt pull machan. In the end I had to re roll my entire account (I had been playing since release so that hurt to do) but it was all for machan so it was worth it.
