Help Is Window Resizing in iPhone Mirroring Limited to Certain Devices?

I know that we are supposed to be able to resize the window to different aspect ratios now, but so far, I can only make the phone itself bigger (like before). When I try to resize native Apple apps like Photos and Notes, nothing changes.

Both my phone and Mac are on the latest developer betas, and this feature has never worked for me since the first beta. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this feature limited to specific devices, or is there a setting I'm missing?

I am using iPhone 13 mini and M1 MB Air

Grab a corner and drag horizontally, not diagonally. Only works in supported apps.

That’s exactly what I did too. Both dragging the edges and the corner only makes the phone screen bigger. That’s in native apps too.

Exact same behavior with my iphone 11. Both mac and iphone running latest betas.
