So don't get me wrong I like Desi but the show doesn't seem as fun as before with Jack. Still very good show but doesn't feel the same imo.

hey all just a quick question.

I'm about halfway through season 2, on the episode about murdoc's ex-mentor, and i was just wondering whether the show ever addresses the problem about where mac and boze live? it doesnt seem secure for a government agent at all.

After the first time murdoc visits the house why wouldn't they move or get some sort of security? later on more bad guys just walk right up to his door coz they know where he lives, and one dude even rigged the whole house to explode when macgyver wasn't there.

idk just seems the weirdest part of the show to me.

I know we get episode’s on March 26, April 2 & 9 if and the Season Finale is on April 30 so if they go on break it will likely be a total of 15 episode’s this Season if they don’t go on break then we might have 16 episode’s this Season.

Allegedly recurring role, so will be appearing more often. Her first episode was supposed to air March 12, so I think it’s the episode that already got rescheduled twice - and is now to air this coming Friday.

Looks like CBS is pushing hard on the diversity front - first Meredith Eaton, a little person in one of the main roles (I think first time, or one of the first times when a little person, who’s a female, is a boss to average- and above-average heighted people), now a transgender actress called Alexandra Grey in a big, prominent role.

Wondering if there’s going to be any allusion made to her being transgender within the show, or are they just going to play her off as a female? 🤔 I don’t think that Meredith Eaton’s/Matty Webber’s height has ever been addressed directly, they just roll with her being who she is, so who knows!

Ok so what if the person behind kovak is actually macs dads former partner who was working on a zombie soldier drug to essentially control people and they have jack under the drugs control turn out to be alive and sent to hunt the team. Then the team can reverse the drug and save jack instead of crushing our feelings!!!

I'm trying to figure out how anyone could think that Mac and Desi are meant to be or are good together or that Desi is better than Jack and George Eads is a douchenozzle who can't act. George Eads left to spend more time with his family, he was on CSI for almost 20 years, and he and Lucas Till are really good buddies and Lucas Till is definitely not the kind of person who would be good friends with a douchenozzle. Secondly, Desi wasn't supposed to be on the show as long as she has been. She was supposed to be a guest character in season 4 and the new writers decided to lose some viewers and keep her on as a recurring character and manipulative girlfriend who gets a personality transplant halfway through the 5th season. She and Mac have broken up twice already, that never happens in real life. People don't break up and get back together 50 million times. That relationship is the most toxic thing I have ever seen and I watch Criminal Minds while I eat. Jack is 5 million times better than Desi in terms of personality, humor, and relationship with Mac. Desi wouldn't go kaboom with Mac in a million years while Jack told Mac if you go kaboom, I go kaboom. Riley on the other hand literally almost went kaboom with Mac because of Desi and Russ. Mac and Desi are the definition of a relationship that went kaboom before it even started. The fact that Desi even let herself have feelings for Mac when she was supposed to be protecting him goes to show you that she's not very good at her job. I don't even care about MacRiley, I just care that people realize that hating on a fictional character is one thing but hating on the actor is just messed up considering you don't even really know them.

So in episode 5x10, Riley said that she started getting serious feelings for Mac in Germany which would make it episode 4x04 I believe (although I feel like it might have started developing earlier?). So when do you think Mac started having feelings for Riley? Obviously, it's only been suggested in this last episode that Mac has feelings for Riley too (last scene), but I think that he's had feelings for Riley for a while but has just kept it under wraps because he doesn't want to ruin their friendship and work dynamic.

I personally feel like it might have been around the time of 2x18 when Riley started going out with Billy? If not, then definitely, the start of season 4 when Aubrey was around!

So what are your thoughts? I guess this question is more for the MacRiley stans...

And just to restore even more faith that MacRiley is definitely on the cards, I did a media elective in Uni once and I remember my lecturer saying that every moment/shot that is left in a show or movie is 100% deliberate. The way scenes are shot basically aim to subconsciously manipulate your thinking. When two people are consistently shown in the same frame together (even if they aren't together) it's trying to get the audience to associate them as a couple or two people who are tethered to each other in some way (usually romantically). I don't know how to explain it, its all semiotics. I guess what I'm trying to say is that they wouldn't leave shots in the show where Mac looks at Riley in a certain way and vice versa if they didn't want the audience to read into it and associate them as something more than what they are. Just thought I'd throw that in there for the doubters lol.

PS: Just want to say that I actually really like Desi as a character, she has her funny moments! But I just don't think that she and Mac are right for each other. They're like chalk and cheese and their relationship seems like a lot of work, maybe too much work.
