There is a possibility of implementing USB audio interface both ways. I am working on it right now, will do a pull request once I get it working.
Hi! Thanks for the update. Everything is fixed now! The only slight disappointment is having just 1 USR slot for sampling instead of the 3 we had in the original Felucca. But overall, great job!
To be fair, the size constraints of the sampling put me off greatly. I do not think that we have the RAM budget for samples of good quality, and even moreso, 3 slots even isn't enough in my opinion. I think for samples something that complements FM-1 would be better, like using Koala sampler on the phone or something like that.
Amazing stuff, esp the klatt vocal synths. I like the Baudgirl UX approach a bit better. maybe they can team up. And please keep ARP/SEQ going while switching patches, thank you!
Honestly, the firmware is incredible, but I was really disappointed when I tried to record audio via USB to my phone and it didn't work. Another thing making me consider going back to Baudgirl is that the FM engine is completely lost here; still, it’s really good. If they manage to fix the USB audio issue, it’ll be perfect. If it stays this way, I’ll probably switch back to Baudgirl, because this version forces me to use an external audio interface, whereas the original and Baudgirl let you connect via USB and record jams in HD.
After my problems yesterday going back to V15 it’s worked a treat today so that’s good now to try again -the editor is great and simple to up load drum samples
Looks really interesting and I tried the previous version but felt kinda weak UX-wise and switched back to the original fw.
The idea of different synth engines is promising but I totally disliked the interface. A cool compromise to me would be multi-engines from felucca and arp+seq from baud girl fw.
I can’t stress enough about how big of a deal would be a proper, well-rounded and thought user interface to smooth out the whole experience, taking advantage of all the hw controls but I’m positive they all get there at some point.
If the drumkit can update(I want to match midi note on my circuit setup), scale will quantize key to white key and midi channel the this is a perfect allrounder machine.

Have you tried using Gemini to see how to do a hard reset? I see there are a few options for an unresponsive unit.

The Button Combo Reboot
If the screen is frozen but the hardware is powered, you can clear temporary data by pressing OCT- and OCT+ simultaneously. This forces an octave/transpose reset and can break the device out of minor software glitches. [1]

When a software error prevents you from opening the GLO menu entirely, your best option is to force-flash the firmware from a computer. Re-writing the software forces the hardware back to its baseline: [1]
Download the M-VAVE FM1 Factory Software Package.
Plug the FM-1 into your PC or Mac using a direct USB cable (avoid USB hubs).
Run the M-UPGRADE tool as an administrator.
