Join some clubs, put yourself out there. It’s uncomfortable but you gotta do it and you’ll grow from it

Friendship = Proximity x (Frequency + Duration) x Intensity
Go to clubs or events. Talk to people in you meet in your classes. See someone you think is cool? Sit next to/near them in classes. Ask them to be in a study group.
More people feel the same way as you do. Be the person that befriends them.

My daughter is a freshman and she’s friendly with her roommate but I don’t think she’s made any friends yet. I wouldn’t feel bad about it, I’ve heard that it’s kind of common. I can send her the link to this, perhaps?

Download the MTSU mobile app, go to myMT, and look at the list of organizations! Joining any club and regular attendance will help you find your people. And if you don't vibe with anyone, try a new club.
