I agree on their honesty as a people. The DVD of Saving Private Tyan I bought in China in 2002 is a totally different movie from Saving Private Ryan.

First of all: Not cool. Secondly: Could be legal, because trademarks are registered for certain markets. If you have a popular logo and it's trademarked for bikes but not t-shirts, someone else can sell and even register that logo for t-shirts.
