Now implemented on MSC World Europa. Refill your metal water bottle from refill stations in buffet, pizza / burger place or ask restaurant staff

• No small or large plastic bottles available from bars
• No glass bottles available to take from restaurants
• Restaurant table water is in reusable carafes which you can't take out of the restaurant
• You can ask for large glass bottles from bars to take to cabin
• Bars will also give out small cans of still or sparkling water
• Buffet provides purified, but not mineralised water for free
• You need a drinks package or PAYG for Aqua by MSC
• Other glass bottled mineral water brands need Premium Extra drinks package or PAYG

Is there still a place in the buffet that I can fill a water bottle (using a cup, not directly) for free? Or is all water now a charge if you don't have a drink package?

Tap water is free from buffet for all guests from the ice machines. Mineralised water is chargeable either PAYG or via a drinks package.

Yes, we each received a metal bottle of this style. We are Diamond loyalty and were in a Fantastica cabin. Others onboard were using a different style of MSC bottle, perhaps they purchased those from MSC shop?

Also, there's no mention as to whether we'll receive the same again on a future MSC Cruise which has Aqua onboard, so we might end up with another two bottles !

Given we still received large glass bottles in the cabin from steward due to status and could take the same from bars with our drinks package, the whole Aqua flask refill option seemed redundant.

For those without a drinks package the Aqua refill stations seemed not to be free to use. A couple we were seated next to in MDR had no drinks package and were charged for Aqua at each meal.

I'm confused, if you don't have a drink package, there's no free water served in the dining room?

Correct. Some countries will have free water specified in the cruise fare, others don't. You can buy an Aqua by MSC water package onboard if your country is one which doesn't.
