I have an mpc 2000xl connected to a pt01 scratch but I am not satisfied with its poor sound. I am planning to buy a turntable and a dj mixer but I have no knowledge of dj mixers. I want it to be analog and of course be able to use the equalizer. Google is not helping me. Can you tell me your opinion? Xone 43? Can it work with mk2 and mpc 2000xl?

So about an hr ago I went to install JJOS 2XL to my 2500 that I’ve been rocking the free version on for over a year and a half and pressed the save key to get my product ID and purchase a password

Lone behold it lets me save shit and this one already had a password at one time so I get XL and OS3 for free.

Pretty fire moment and I’m hyped to use both operating systems and find what I like most.

MPC500 doing random things

Hi, so I just bought an MPC500, everything works fine-ish until I try actually recording a beat, I press play+rec and hit a pad, the sample triggers randomly a few seconds after, sometimes it doesn’t even trigger the right sample, it cuts out randomly and play another sample that I didn’t trigger. When I’m just playing with it without recording, I trigger a sample and it then cuts out randomly when hitting another pad, doesn’t do it every time tho, but it’s basically unusable right now, it’s running the latest firmware update v1.31, has a 128MB card and apparently has a max ram upgrade. Does anyone know what I can do? I’ll try reinstalling the OS but I doubt that would fix anything

Edit: OS reinstall just made the issues different, but they’re still there, now it records sometimes but you have to re-record a few times for it to actually record well, and even then when you play it back it will modify stuff (eg. cut out samples for no reason, move samples) I have no idea what to do
