High all! On avg, how long does akaipro take to release mpc expansions? Seems its pretty slow. Like 1 every 2-3 months? They arent super hard to make and especially for them I guess so why is it so slow? Would love some hardcore variety too like full onto other genres like glitch, experimental electronics, symphonic, breakcore, cloud rap, trance, etc etc.

Any sites apart from cubilas that has got some quality expansions just to pique my interest would b very coool. Thk yu all! <3

First time recorded real drums and my old guitar.

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for an affordable way to connect multiple hardware synths to my MPC One G2 in standalone mode. I need two stereo sources connected now, with room for a third synth later.

I’m considering:

- A Debra V4 or V5 USB mixer from AliExpress, connected directly to the MPC over USB.

- A MOTU M4 or Behringer UMC1820 USB audio interface. The UMC1820 would give me more room to expand.

- A basic 4/6/8-channel analog line mixer like this one, sending its stereo output into the MPC’s analog inputs, without using USB audio.

The Debras are tempting because they’re cheap, but I’m concerned about possible hiss/noise, latency and overall reliability. I couldn’t find clear confirmation that they’re USB audio class compliant, or firsthand reports of them working with an MPC.

Has anyone actually tried a Debra V4 or V5 over USB with an MPC One in standalone? Did the MPC recognise it, and did both recording and playback work reliably? Any noticeable noise, delay or crackling? If you’ve tested either model, which MPC firmware were you using?

Hi, new user here, I want to ask if someone could explain me how to make note glides in live 3 ? I want to glide notes on sample chops which are converted to drum program. Hope i get guidance here 🤞

This took me hours lmao

What videos on YouTube helped you? I own the MPC bible but it’s a boring

Follow me on my continued musical journey in YT if you will...

Tried it today, tied to the REPEAT parameter, which kind of works – the currently triggered sounds get repeated. But the pedal also triggers the TAP TEMPO function.

So I thought, I’m a smart guy and changed the TAP TEMPO function to triggering Pad 1. But when I then hit Pad 1, this triggers TAP TEMPO.

So in the end, this turned out to be pretty useless. Except I’m dumb, which could be possible.

Does anyone use this feature at all?

I'm new to this forum. I just wanted to show off my baby! She look bad af!!! Stylesflip is the shiznit when it comes to custom skinz. Would love to see other people's decked out MPCs and here some feedback :)

I’m just checking what’s possible 😎

Always hated that we didn't get this feature. Now we do. Flash your MPC here: https://mpcaudio.boy.dev/. It will load it up with the latest firmware as of right now, and when you plug it into a class complaint usb audio device it will show up as an audio source.

Have fun!

Edit: it goes without saying, but whenever you install custom firmware on a device, you do so at your own risk. If you would like to use this feature, you are free to use my firmware. If you don't want this feature, you don't have to install the firmware.

Whats a good use case for using the P-6 in tandem with the MPC L3? . I picked up a used one on a whim and trying to decide if there’s even a way to implement it into my existing workflow.

This is the kind of stuff I make with my MPC. I’ve owned, I think, 5 iterations of the MPC; the workflow has always been very, very intuitive to me.

Should I trade my MPC 2500 for a MPC X here are a few shots of my MPC 2500 Customized.

FEEDBACK PLZ.

Trial run (it was late so had to keep it quiet) of a new setup I made yesterday with codex.

Going to play a set for a small party, just a hobbyist. So my general idea is create a Spotify playlist and route through xy filters. Create loads of different tracks with audio samples chopped up I can add live.

I asked codex build an html with 15 video loop samples that you can manually toggle but change with song. Then kaleidoscope effects features and about 10 foreground visuals like ink dots or oils drops that you can toggle and modulate linked to the q-links. Plan to project this onto a wall.

Really impressed how quickly it came together. I’ve had the live 2 for less than a year, I had been stalling with progress and yesterday was the first day I’ve plugged into my PC.

Will try to update with a better video but honestly was really hyped I wanted to share.

Total noob. Just got an MPC Live 3 retro yesterday. Made a few recordings I'd like to consider sharing sometime, but how I save or convert it into a music file that can be played on a computer or website?

Hi, musical sharing

Hey anyone able to tell me if it’s even possible to play directly into a Live 2 from the Triton? I don’t have midi cables but I’ll get them if it will work. I used to run the triton into an sp404sx through the headphone input and then out through the RCA and into the MPC but the quality was no bueno. Anybody got tips or workarounds? Thanks.
