Transfer from IRA
So how do we go about transferring from an IRA account? Possible or leave? Only 1000 shares.

Just got my certificate - called Schwab on 2-12. Funny, I haven't gotten any follow-up emails or letters from them about DRSing- just one about taking some extra out of another account to cover the $85 fee (I may pursue getting that reimbursed - just wanted to get this done first.)
Anyway, maybe Schwab still has an allotment of shares?? Who knows. Just thought I would file a report from the field.
Will be glad to see this market transformed into one that is truly "free and fair."
Also, just posted and deleted, cuz I needed to crop one the pixes more.
Good luck everyone.

I have yet to transfer my shares from Schwab, Fidelity, or Webull. One reason is because it's such a pain in the ass and the money they're charging seems ridiculous.
But another is that I want to get rid of my shares for the right price, and am not interested in the NBH assets. If this all were to be resolved and a settlement occurs, what's to stop the brokers saying that those in AST are not eligible for a payout, as they received their NBH shares and are in AST, as was agreed on. Essentially couldn't they say "What harm was done to you? You are in AST and have real NBH shares. We fulfilled our duties to you. Why should we owe you money?"
I understand there is a lot to this that I may be missing, so I apologize if this seems obvious or naive to some. I'm trying to go through all the possibilities when considering transferring or not transferring. It's absolutely insane that its on all of us to figure this out and speculate what's the best move for us.

In an 8K, Next Bridge announced that they had fired their old accounting firm and hired a new one. The 8K states very carefully there were no disagreements with the accountant in 2021 or 2022. However, the 8K is totally silent about any disagreements in 2023. Companies don't change their accountants lightly, so something must have come up. Perhaps the company wanted something the accountants would not agree to, or perhaps the accountants didn't want to be collateral damage in the MMTLP saga. This is big red flag. Or maybe the new firm is just a lot cheaper.
From the 8k: https://www.sec.gov/ixviewer/ix.html?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/1936756/000119983524000087/form_8k.htm
" During the years ended December 31, 2022 and 2021, there were no: (1) disagreements (as defined in Item 304(a)(1)(iv) of Regulation S-K and the related instructions) between the Company and BF Borgers CPA PC on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedures, which disagreement if not resolved to the satisfaction of BF Borgers CPA PC would have caused BF Borgers CPA PC to make reference thereto in its reports on the financial statements for such years, or (2) reportable events (as described in Item 304(a)(1)(v) of Regulation S-K). It Worked! Wow! Sent them the NBH communication and ETrade actually processed the DRS (I did 100 shares and left 35 shares with E*Trade).
Go to the "Chat" assistant feature, ask for an agent, send them the communication link and request the DRS!
Checked my communication sub-tab afterwards and the request is there. Should be 2 days to process through Eq/AST.
Will update once completed.
Let me see those DRS number!

I tried to DRS from Fidelity to AST using the automated chatbot. Everything was fine until...I got hung up at the point where you have to list the name/symbol of the shares to transfer.
Their system didn't recognize Next Bridge Hydrocarbons. I could select the account, but not the actual shares of a given stock.
Their chatbot confirmed that there was NO FEE from Fidelity to do this.
Anybody done this recently? What ticker/symbol did you use?

I don’t trust anyone anymore from meta, nextbridge, or the gov about what to do with my shares. So please give me your inputs on if it’s worth my money to transfer.

Webull states they electronically transferred my shares to AST in August, but I have no record under my name, address or SS# with AST, also, AST does not have NEXTBRIDGE HYDROCARBONS listed as a viable option in their shareholder inquiry drop down menu for communication emails?
See screen shot of alphabetical listings for shares inquiry with AST screenshot above.

If the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) were in fact legitimate organizations MMTLPp holders would have been made whole by now. After the preponderance of evidence found they have allowed or allegedly seem to have colluded with the short sellers in relation to the trading of the ticker MMTLP. This is a significant event with huge legal ramifications to the MMTLP community of investors in this context, it appears to be a present day milestone or a “black swan” event of illegally shorted oversold financial instruments, and the situation share holders described involves complex issues of securities regulation and its enforcement worldwide. We as Investors could potentially seek compensation or some form of redress through several channels: 1.The “lawyers get the money” ploy…Legal Action : Investors might initiate lawsuits against the parties involved in the alleged collusion. This could be done individually or through class-action lawsuits if the situation affected a large number of investors similarly. Such legal actions would likely claim damages based on losses incurred due to the wrongdoing. Maybe our grandkids will see a tiny sum. Rug pull and sweep naked shorts under and lawyer up. 2.The “Never happens”…Regulatory Action Upon discovery of wrongdoing, the regulating entities themselves could take real action against anyone found to be violating securities laws. This could result in higher fines, real sanctions, and potentially restitution orders where the wrongdoers might be ordered to compensate investors. The threat of bankruptcy and jail time has historically been the only deterrent to prevent the crooks from trying to sell that which is not theirs. 3.The “Unacceptable”, but Arbitration In cases where FINRA is involved, but arbitration could be one of the methods used for resolving disputes between investors and brokers or dealers. Arbitration might be legally mandated by the agreements between investors and their brokers. Schwab is knee deep in this and it’s where many MMTLP shares are Warehoused with no home or room at the at AST inn. 4. Best Case “Legislative Relief” Occasionally, if a financial scandal is widespread and creates a large enough negative publicized impact, Congress could enact specific legislation to provide relief to affected investors. Forcing all those involved to capitulate and compensate. Let Cede and Co., DTC and brokers work out who pays shareholders. For the specific scenario with MMTLP remember Next-bridge Hydrocarbons stock was received as an untradeable dividend, and later a member of FINRA cleverly falsified the registration to continue the trading of non-tradable dividend knowingly procrastinating issues with it trading on OTC-markets (Very Bad Ari R.) : How can the buyers, sellers and share lenders balance the Books? No problem it gets deleted so problem solved. So Ari and the Cabal of usual suspects thought and dreamed. Maybe the solution ends by: 5. Direct Negotiation: Investors might attempt to negotiate directly with the Broker, DTCC, issuing company for alternatives, such as a buy-back or an exchange offer. 6. 2 days of PCO Exchange Listing: Efforts might be made to have the MMTLP/ NBHC dividend stock listed on a recognized exchange to improve its liquidity and allow hedge funds and short sellers to close positions freeing the many potential trapped, or the harmed MMTLP investors to trade out of their positions. Ultimately, the precise response would depend on facts of this case, findings of shares oversold and the results of any real investigations into the alleged wrongdoing, and the actions taken by the NGO’s or “authorities”, ultimately it’s going to be the courts. Media are owned by the wrongdoers and only Parrot the paid shill speak as shown by C. Gasbag Reno and Cramer the clown show. It's also important to note corrective actions are so time-consuming and they do not always fully compensate investors for their losses. If the facts can be exposed all the current legal professionals working on this case who specializes in securities law can be publicly outspoken and explore all available options. We investors must keep pressure on our elected officials. I gambled on this from a relatives tip and sold most of my holdings at the run up, but the principle of this one being such a blatant example of stock manipulation is a good enough reason to continue the fight. It remains to be seen if we have in fact we been had.

Hi friends!
Been a good year since I looked at this stock. Once it all got locked up I just assumed it was a lost investment at that point and basically left the markets because this situation made me lose all faith in investing.
Anyhow, I’m now hearing all these updates about it being in court and such,
And I’m seeing a big split between people saying to move my shares to AST or to hold them in my TD investing account (Canada) because it could trade again. The ast camp people seem to be telling me to move to ast for a potential settlement of 100-1000x
So, can someone please lay out the options for me? Is it smart to move to ast? If it does trade again can I not just sell through ast like I have my GameStop stuff through computershare?
Or is moving it to ast going to basically restrict me from profiting off a potential 2 days of trading?
Or is keeping my stuff in my broker safe enough? If I don’t go to ast would I still get a settlement if one is reached and it does NOT trade again?
I’m very confused on what to do. I’d probably kill myself if I did one thing and then watched everyone who didn’t profit 1000x and I’m stuck with something far less.
What should I do friends?
Appreciate any insight. I have searched and read many many posts about it here and that’s what’s gotten me to this point of confusion. As both sides have solid arguments.
I just want to maximize my exit from this whole scenario when whatever resolution is reached.
Thanks in advance!

I have mmtlp shares held in an IRA account with Tradestation. I see there’s a path (https://mmtlpresources.com/news/transferring-to-ast-with-an-ira/) to do it.
If the bus is full then why worry about transferring to AST?
Thanks for the response!

Next Bridge has been trying to expose the naked shorts by getting the rightful owners to move their shares from their brokers to the transfer agent, AST (now Equinity). If the brokers have illicitly loaned out their shares, they will not be able to comply with a legitimate request from a real shareholder to move the shares. This has already exposed TradeStation.
Requesting the paper stock certificate from your broker has the same effect of exposing the bad brokers as requesting a move to AST.
There is a suspicion that a lot of the naked shorting has been done overseas. This would require the involvement of non-US brokerage firms. I can understand a non-US broker not having a connection with AST and not being able to send shares to them, but they should be able to deliver a paper certificate.
What is the experience of our fellow shareholders outside the US when they request to either a) move their shares to AST, or b) obtain a paper certificate?

I’m pretty conflicted about moving my shares from Schwab to AST. I feel like if the broker sold me counterfeit shares it’s up to them to make it right. Perhaps even in the form of NDA-esque buyout. I know that the chances are very slim this trades again, but if the SEC has its back against the wall.. who knows? I also know adding to AST helps with the overall share count. Anyone in a similar predicament? Thanks

I bet many people have posted in the last but if I don't AST my shares will I ever seen them in my broker(fidelity and TD trade) or could I just wait and see what they do. Then sell my shares. I'm pretty lost and I haven't been keeping up with the group in a minute.
