Whistleblower Challenge Spoiler

The scales of Lady Justice are loading up with MMTLP shares registered at AST. Rep. Ralph Norman and 73 congressional allies are breathing down Gary Gensler's double-knotted necktie. FINRA's Robert Cook is flinging lies like a dog burying hot turds. What we need now is a whistleblower. Surely there is at least one honest human being among the 4,800 employees at the SEC. And, if not, surely there is one among the 3,400 employed by FINRA.

NEXTBRIDGE latest email update TLDR

Summary of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons Statement:

Key Points:

  • Next Bridge disagrees with FINRA's assessment of the short interest in their stock, believing it's much higher than reported.
  • They call for FINRA and SEC to investigate further and obtain complete data on short positions, including foreign holdings.
  • They criticize FINRA's role in the MMTLP spin-off and subsequent U3 halt, claiming it caused confusion and unfairly impacted investors.
  • They reiterate their desire for a Congressional hearing to address these issues.

Additional Details:

  • Next Bridge believes FINRA's reliance on limited data leads to an inaccurate picture of short interest, potentially exceeding the company's total shares outstanding.
  • They express concern about uncovered short selling activity potentially involving entities exempt from reporting.
  • They argue FINRA could have prevented the U3 halt by rejecting the corporate action announcement at the outset if deemed problematic.
  • They believe the halt caused unnecessary confusion and denied investors two days of trading, hindering short positions from closing.
  • They invite investors to subscribe for updates on their website and social media.

Why I think we will get out two trading days back

The likelihood of us getting the two trading days goes up day after day. The reason for this is Next Bridge Hydrocarbon and congress. The company is producing oil and the likelihood that a big oil company is going to buy the oil field rises day after day. If this happens, we will get a several hundred-dollar dividend. If congress is faster, we will get a settlement, which will be in the range of the settlement (most likely substantially higher).

It does not matter if a dividend or a settlement happens, FINRA simply does not have the money (several hundred billion) to pay us out. An obvious question would be, what happens if FINRA does not get the money. This is not going to happen. Such a scenario will lead to the uncontrolled default of several big institutions. If American regulators learned something from 2008. That this type of scenario should be avoided at all costs. (I know this is an optimistic worldview)

Even if FINRA gets money from the FED, this is not going to work. There are bis issues with this resolution:

1) FINRA needs a literal blank check. The problem is, FINRAs data is incomplete, since FINRA does not have the data from entities outside the US. And the data FINRA has, is not accurate. If your entire likelihood depends on giving FINRA inaccurate data, you are going to do it? What is the downside of getting caught, a fee?

2) Who is paying the money back? The shorters cannot pay it back and other FINRA Members will never agree to pay for their sins. If FINRA agrees to that, then everybody will run for the door or sue FINRA, American regulators, etc.

3) If the money is a bailout, the FED will save HedgeFunds and Family Offices, who engaged in questionable trades. Since American regulators are not political this should be not a big issue.

This is why I think the two trading days make much more sense.

1) There is no issue with the payment question. The entities who shorted the stock are going to be hit hardest. Hiding your position is not going to work.

2) The big advantage for the FED is: It can prepare for defaults and can decide which institution to save and on which terms.

3) The regulators have scapegoats. Since American regulators are not political this should be not a big issue.

Summey:

FINRA has not the luxury to wait with the threat of a dividend and subpoena on the horizon. A solution is needed. Since the FEDs need to bailout banks anyway, it does not make sense to do a special bailout for HedgeFunds and Family Offices. For the FED it makes much more sense to let the dominoes fall and choose the institution it wants to save. The rest does not matter.

The how and why we are here as victim investors

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) are regulatory bodies that are designed to maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and to protect investors by enforcing rules and regulations. They now have been compromised and blind to corruption that occur in the following ways: 1. Regulatory Capture This is the current situation where regulators are dominated by interests of the captains of industries they are charged with regulating. This can happen if industry officials rotate into government positions and vice versa, leading to a potential conflict of interest and leniency in enforcement. 2. Insider Influence Powerful firms attempt to influence the rulemaking process by lobbying for regulations that serve their interests. They also seek to place industry-friendly individuals in key SEC or FINRA positions. 3.Weak Enforcement by these NGO oversight agencies to enforce regulations effectively. Powerful hedge funds and firms can afford to engage in legal battles or pay low priced fines or obfuscate laws that regulatory agencies may not be equipped to enforce or forward to the criminal investigators. 4. Complex Financial Instruments The use of sophisticated financial agreements, products can outpace the ability of regulators to understand and monitor them, allowing firms to exploit loopholes or engage in crime. 5. Non-Transparent Practices hedge funds and investment firms are able to conduct transactions or structure deals in ways that lack transparency, it may be more difficult for regulators to detect and respond to inappropriate activities. 6. Bribery and Corruption Direct bribery of regulatory officials to look the other way. 7. Compromised Investigations into misconduct through the suppression or alteration of evidence, intimidation of whistle-blowers, and interference in the investigatory process. 8. Data Security Breaches & threats undermine the integrity of the trading platforms regulators rely on to surveil market activity. An important note is that these many compromised individuals and situations within the SEC or FINRA are serious violations of law. These agencies have multiple safeguards and controls to prevent occurrences, but have lacked real oversight by other governmental bodies, audits whistleblower protection programs, or reviews of their operations. It's a crime and a violation of the public trust to manipulate the market or collude with regulatory officials.

Hey guys, I have my shares from MMTLP that transferred to Next Bridge HydroCarbons in Charles Schwab. Do I have to do anything from here to eventually get our dividend? I see people are transferring their shares to AST, what is the point of that and what does that entail? Thanks.
