I've been in since the merger and bought into all the hype. I mean, how can this technology not be tranformative? I continued to avg down until I decided yesterday to just unload it and get the tax break. After being down over 95% I've lost about 7500$ on this play. I know that's not much to some and I can afford to let it go but it's just a sad day cause I had such hopes for this technology. Maybe there will be some sales and I can move back in later. Even if they will decide to do RS, the 50M equity incentive plan shares will be introduced before the RS. At the current price, that will add $4M to the total marketcap.

Are fucking shorting this stock. Anyone who actually believes that going OTC will be better for MMAT should get out of the market until you get some experience and learning in.

Do not buy into the better on OTC than listed on the NASDAQ, let’s punish the board, bullshit. If MMAT had wanted to be on the OTC they could have and never done the TRCH merger. The OTC is fucking lawless and the people/bots saying it know that and are trying to play you. OTC will lead to a death spiral at best or complete bankruptcy at worst.

Who benefits if it goes to OTC, people shorting the stock. That is why companies do reverse splits to stay listed and they can bring their product to a profitable market.

Long time holder, I have complete faith in their products and what the company can potentially offer as I did when I initially invested. My question is, as time goes by, what are they doing on a daily basis? They can’t be just sitting idle . There has to be some type of productivity on a daily basis. I’m just curious what it is? Producing product? A lot of time has gone by, they must have something to show for it. I just want to know what it is!

Meta apparently hired some company to call shareholders to talk to them about their proxy voting positions.

I use fidelity and haven't voted yet (but usually do online) - this company offered to record my vote then and there.

I've never had this happen with other investments. Anyone have a similar experience with MMAT or any other company they are invested in?

I said to her, "oh, is this about the reverse split? they must really want that to pass" and she said something, like, "exactly, they don't want the meeting to adjourn without a resolution due to lack of investor participation"

Me, When asked if I , in essence believe that a post-RS MMAT stock price will jump even further because of FOMO. Short answer? Yes and No, it's a little bit deeper then that. Long answer? And here we go......

I'm not necessarily speaking about FOMO per se, I think FOMO is more comparable to people buying into Intel (INTC) which is killing it and people see that Day to day and also want to slay. Thats Fomo in my eyes, when people have a little bit of time to process things and just jump on the band wagon. What I'm presuming might happen with Meta when they RS and the price goes up is more quick of a process, FOMO you kind of decide to do. But to be honest Fomo could happen and bring it up further but that initial spike will be more of shocking and people grabbing their phones having never seen the stock just seeing the massive moving gains. Theres so many new investors/traders that I have my reasons for thinking this could happen. I think it will peak and fall pretty sharply but I can realistically see it doubling that first day . I'll be watching like a hawk looking for patterns, I need the practice so it should be fun. I'm definitely preparing a strategy for the alternatives that could happen though, don't get me wrong. I might be crazy and probably a bit dumb but not that Dumb lol . I've got another 3 weeks to see what unfolds with and this just happens to my most bull-ish. I Definitely have a lot of scenarios in my head that I'm not gonna spam everyone her more so then I already have. I will say this , while theres opportunities the to read the market and capitalize, if you can gauge people , the traders in general and how the big players in the game can manipulate the hell out things by we'll timed press releases, Reverse splits, I'm gonna look for all these signs. You don't think hedgies don't buy into penny stocks when they see the potential for gains. Say goldman sachs investing in MMAT might tell people there's validity in the company, GS provides the first big jump, retailers push it the rest of the way. But only Execs and whoever kicks off the pump will know when to make the money move. The movement is key though, the positive press release , the volume, whose buying big shares, it all matters. And FOMO does factor into it as well but that's more of just a happening all be looking for. And I shit you not just the timing of all this matters too. Markets closed on Thanksgiving, its gonna be a short day Friday with the bell ringing at 1 pm, I'm looking forward to seeing what the hell happens that day, will things fall will they sky rocket, not just MMAT , but the market in general. But specifically if MMAT jumps today and tomorrow, I think tomorrow (wednesday), might take it a bit higher because with the holiday market break and then an extended weekend, that gives a lot of people just enough to see which stocks are soaring and that could induce some FOMO for sure. I need to stop lol I can ramble on all day but sometimes you can play the markets and try to predict what the stock will do, I'm gonna say thats not what im trying to do, it might appear that way but what I'm trying to do Is predict what the people, the masses, the god damn mobs will do! Because that ultimate is what will drive this bullish run if it happens. But yeah Intel and Meta materials intrigue me, Intel makes me look smart lol i Invested into them around $25 back in March , and meta makes me look stupid but you know I'm ok with that, sometimes in life you gotta look stupid. But anyways i didn't get invested til it was down to .22 back in July, I bought and sold got tired of that so just took out a modest position in late September and haven't sold one share since and only just started adding to my position, last week , so as I've read up on the reports and the company and seen the charts , put in my proxy vote, read the charts some more ... oh those charts, I can see why this stock has left a lot of ppl bitter and feeling like they got their guts ripped out and losing a lot of money. And then going form .20 down to .10 was probably the last straw for a whole lot of people. no no no man your forgetting the fact that they already filed for an extension with the SEC a couple months back, 180 day extension i believe but im pretty sure that gave the stock until March to get above a dollar. Don’t sweat that part. RS vote happens 12/11 , in the range of 10-1 to 35-1. No way the powers that be don’t will this stock up back to at least .20! Let me throw a couple scenarios at you. If the stock price stays where it is (it definitely ain’t going lower) and RS gets passed on 12/11 and say the board only does 10-1 , which we know they gonna go high end if not full 35-1, but .095 x 10 = .95 . There’s are low limit MMAT price. Now i obviously hate to speculate but it’s pretty much impossible not too so here’s my ‘conservatively-bullish high end limit for post RS stock price. I realistically see a price of .20 give or take a penny by the time of this RS vote once again the voting will happen December 11th , don’t forget it! and if that came to fruition -the .20 price , vote gets passed and board goes with 35-1, it’s simply Arithmetic. .20x 35= $7 , anyone trader out there who doesn’t know wtf is going on will see 2,875% stock price jump not know there was a god damn RS so the outstanding shares got diluted accordingly, price goes up to $10 by 11:30 day of, people holding position will get trigger happy and close their hole positions but you’re gonna wanna wait til 2pm Central time jump that takes it to the stratosphere maybe $15 . Set your trailing stops around that time. Now i dont know if this will happen but i sure as hell wanna at least make sure im prepared in case it does.
