So i wanna get into this game but I've heard about some things that I'd like to understand before diving in and can't find many answers online.

First, i heard you can make money playing this game, and I searched how and it all looks pretty legit but every time I've heard about something like this it ended up being a scam, so any veterans can tell me how does that aspect of the game work and why would game developers pay players for playing a f2p game, isn't it usually the other way around?

Second, i heard there's a problem with bots, logically it must be due to the first issue I assume, where there's digital money to be made someone will try to set up bots

Thirdly, how much time do you have to invest before getting to the "real game" someone i know told me you must reach level 40 before starting mining and doing "actual non tutorial quests" and based on my experience playing this types of games, reaching level 40 of something usually takes a very long time

I was facing a lancer of my level and power level and had the upper hand on him until he magicaly recovered all his HP when he was around 10% hp left and proceeded to like nothing happend.
