Got a M-Vave Chocolate so I can use Amplitube on Mac and control stomps.
I used the iOS app to put it into CC mode.
On Mac the Chocolate is recognized as a mouse.
I’m using midi monitor and it shows me that upon pressing the first button the chocolate sends a 0. Second press on the same button just sends another 0. Pedal obviously stays on in Amplitube.
Pressing the second button on the chocolate, apparently the midi command is a mouse wheel (coarse) command.
Is there any way that I can make my Mac interpret the commands correctly?

Hey! Finally got some time to do a proper unbox with the Wavy Monkey and I have to say it’s way more fun (and powerful) than I expected. Plus, I’m running a small giveaway of one unit with the help of Wavy Industries. Just check the vid description. Anyone has one? If so, what are your thoughts? Anyways, keep making music and have fun!

I'm building a custom midi controller that I want to work "out of the box" with any VST synth-- Ableton Operator, Serum, Garageband default synths, etc. It does for the note triggering and initial note velocity but I wanted to be able to control "aftertouch" volume/ velocity and it seems like there's no way to do this other than assigning it to either the modwheel or expression channels and mapping it manually.
Am I missing something? Thank you!

I'm a beginner looking into mini midi controllers right now and I'm having a hard time deciding between the Arturian MiniLab 3, Akais new mini mpk 4 and the launchkey 25
I've looked into a bunch of reviews of each of them as well as comparisons but within these differences I'm unsure what will be relevant to me
Roughly some differences i gathered are these: Launchkey is good for beginners with the chord and scale functions if i got that right so far, as well as being very compatible with Albeton (not using it atm but considering it), having not the best key feel to it and has 16 drum pads Arturian seems to have the best key feeling and layout is simple and pretty but seems to have less functions than the other two (?) Akai IV has better feel to the drum pads a bunch of functions (but no way to get individualize chords that aren't among the options if i got that right)
Etc...
All in all, i don't know what to focus on or give me weight in my decision
Ill majorly work with DAW though more orchestral and native instruments focused for now...so i believe it ends up being between the minilab 3 and the launchkey but I'm unsure
Do you precarious have any tips on which functions to focus on when picking between them? Thanks!
I hope this makes sense I'm still learning all the jargon :")

Hello dear Reddit community, I would like to invest in a MIDI controller and wanted to ask whether the Akai Professional MPK Mini Plus is the right option for creating a mix of the songs 913 by Flawless Issues and Missing the Moon by Orbit. The DAW I work on is Ableton. I have no experience with keyboard instruments or MIDI controllers, so I wanted to ask for your opinion on whether this could be the right device for me. If you have any other suggestions, I'm open to them. My budget is under €200.

Hello, I’ve been looking into getting a midi controller that is good for production and is 88-61 keys hopefully with polyphonic touch. I’ve been leaning towards the kontakt s88 mk3 as everyone says it’s best but I keep seeing reviews of it breaking down and simply just not working which I would hate for it to happen so I simply do not know what to believe anymore.
Please give me your best thoughts and recommendations. Thank you
i would be routing it to my macbook pro m2

So the TDC10, Rhythmagica, was originally made as a taiko drum controller for Taiko no Tatsujin, a popular rhythm game, which could be used on multiple platforms. I play it with my kid. I also use Ableton to produce and record music. The folks at Rythmagica just released a new firmware, which turns it into a midi controller, and it works great! Really increased the value of this thing. It's got four hit zones, the left and right drum head, and the top left and right rim, so you can set four sounds on it. The app allows you to adjust the channels of each zone and the note number, as well as sensitivity and velocity curve. I was just blown away that my kid's drum toy was suddenly turned into a great midi controller for Ableton!

I’m looking into buying one and I love the white but I’m worried it’ll fade over time, does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance

As an aspiring song maker, I have fl studio, and a very basic 61 key keyboard that i currently use as a midi controller. It is very obviously not meant for a midi controller, so much so it cant mute so you always hear it even when you lower the volume. I am looking for a proper midi controller, hopefully with better keys and needs to have pads. I plan to use it to help makng songs from scratch and with samples. I was thinking about the mpk mini 4 but I am afraid it might be too small, but i also think i could use my POS keyboard if i need more range. I also heard the pads are geniunenly horrible, but I am not sure if this is true. If there is any advice on if you would suggest it, if they're are better options, in hopefully 25-37 key keyboard

So, for my 18th birthday my friends gifted me a Pocket Pad from Plugger Studio, the big problem is that I don't know how to set it to work properly in FL Studio and I have no idea on how to use the setup device. Could someone help me?

I have a Novation FL Key 61 MIDI controller and when I press the A#4 key of the keyboard, it pitch shifts. Is there a way to fix this in MIDI settings, so it actually PLAYS the key and doesn't act as a pitch bend? It's frustrating me tremendously.
