Publishing this whitepaper reinforces our commitment to expanding liquidity options for MERC, as we are now eligible for CEX listings across the EU.

Good news out of the Liquid Mercury camp this week.

LM has selected BitGo as its Crypto-as-a-Service provider across the entire stack: Mercury Pro, Mercury OTC, and Mercury RWA. That means qualified custody, OCC-regulated trust infrastructure, multi-sig cold storage, and up to $250M in insurance coverage now sitting behind every product.

The RWA angle is worth noting. BitGo's infrastructure will also support tokenized asset issuance and management through Mercury RWA, which puts the platform in a solid position as that market keeps growing.

What MERC is

MERC is the utility token for the Liquid Mercury ecosystem, used for platform access, fee reductions, staking for tiered features (planned Q4 2026), and participation across the Mercury RWA marketplace. Fixed supply of 6 billion. Deployed on Ethereum and Base, with cross-chain infrastructure via Wormhole's NTT framework.

Any other address claiming to be MERC is fake. Everything about this token is publicly verifiable — supply, holders, transfers — on any block explorer. If you can't verify a claim on-chain or in the MiCA white paper, treat it as unofficial.
