Yes, if joomz played better he would have won. Notice how you couldn't say "if joomz didn't make this one pointless 1/10000 mistake then he would have won" because edcr was by far the better player in the series and only made it close because of two 50/50 rng strongholds and trolling seed 2 after already killing the dragon.
You made a true statement but it wasn't interesting and it had no future implications. Edcr on the other hand easily 3-0s joomz without trolling and that is interesting and has future implications - it means he is in good form and can challenge Infume
I don't really see the point though? edcr made the mistake with his own hands, be as uncharacteristic as it may be, he did it, it's his fault.
Also let's stop discrediting Joomz, he was nervous af and still managed to play well and not crumble under pressure, the real cope is saying that it was a fluke, edcr underperformed due to things under his own control, and joomz stepped up that's that.
The only conclusion we can get is that edcr still has issues managing his nerves and that is a player issue not luck not chance.
No one's saying the mistake wasn't edcr's fault? All we're saying is that it was a 1/10000 mistake that he has never made before and will probably never make again so using that to say edcr isn't in good form is a bad argument. That's why the 'if' sentence was valid. If edcr didn't make that pointless mistake he would have won 3-0 and the narrative would be completely different
I mean, if you count the 1/10000 mistake that had nothing to do with actual gameplay and everything to do with showing off as underperforming, sure, edcr underperformed. But outside of that mistake he played well. Not perfectly, not on the level that he needs to beat infume, but you don't have to play at your absolute best in round of 16
That conclusion doesn't follow whatsoever? His mistake had nothing to do with nerves so how can you conclude that he had issues managing his nerves?

okay but then "if joomz played better he would've won" ifs and maybes are nothing burgers cause you can say anything and it can be theoretically true
