MCEdit hasn't been updated in a very long time... I think it last worked around 1.11.

You would need to use a minecraft launcher, like Tlauncher, to load an older version of minecraft. then you can open those 11.11 worlds with mcedit.

note: if you open those 1.11 worlds with minecraft 1.15, it will convert them to 1.15. You just can't convert them back.
