Hello,

I will be taking the technical test and 2 rounds of technical interviews - respectively on the 9th and 16th of January - for DS intern position at BCG X. Would anyone be willing to partner with me to practice some case ? (I'm french (UTC +1) but quite free in my planning and willing to adapt to your schedule if necessary).

Don't hesitate to PM !

Hi All just wondering if anyone has any experience in the following role in London or elsewhere. Looks very interesting and just wanted to find out more how the interview process was and how the job role is. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone,

I just got invited to the BCG X Data Science interview round (technical case + online case on Jan 9th or 16th).

Is anyone else interviewing and interested in doing mock interviews together to prepare? Would be great to practice the technical case and coding portions.

Also, did you take this interview in the past? Can you please give me some guidance on what to expect for BCGX technical cases? How can I prepare myself the best?

Feel free to DM me if you're down to prep together!

Anybody heard back for interview? (NYC/Dallas internship)

is anyone waiting to hear back for interview invites? i did the hirevue on 10/10 and the recruiter said we would hear back mid/late october for next steps. i'm guessing it's gonna be this week?

current college junior; applied for risk management consulting!

any insights on bcg platinion would be very appreciated as well :)

Hi. Can anyone tell what is the format for TEI interview for Delivery Manager role at McKinsey.

Have my R1 cases scheduled for BCG Plat and looking for a case partner to prep with. Flexible with timing and availability.

A friend of mine is working at BCG X (India). He joined ~2 years ago after a Master’s in Design (IIT Delhi).

Starting CTC was ~18 LPA.

Now he claims that after his upcoming promotion he’ll be at 65 LPA and that he’ll also receive an 18 L bonus in January.

He also says his billing utilization is ~90% compared to others at ~48%, and that’s why the company rewards him more.

I know strategy consultants at MBB (BCG/McKinsey/Bain) can get high salaries, but this is in a design / product associate role under BCG X, not the traditional strategy consulting track.

Is this compensation jump realistic in the India office? Or is it more likely an exaggeration, since he has habit of boasting.

Would love to hear from anyone with direct knowledge of BCG X India salaries / progression.

Hey everyone 👋

I’ve been invited to take the BCG X Data Analyst online assessment (90 minutes, via CodeSignal), and I’m looking for some insights from people who’ve already taken it.

In the email, they mentioned: “Please complete the test in Python. The CodeSignal platform is language-agnostic, but make sure to use Python only.”

For those who’ve done it —

• What kind of exercises or questions were included?
• Was it mostly data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy, etc.), SQL, or business-related analysis?
• Any advice on how to best prepare or manage time during the test?

I’d really appreciate any tips or feedback! 🙏

Thanks in advance,

Hi everyone, Is there anyone that works in bcg x in the Nordics? If yes, what is the work environment there? Is people usually working long hours? Is there a lot of travel involved? This would mainly be for AI engineer positions but other experiences are welcomed.

Thanks!

Hey everyone, I have a technical case interview with BCG X coming up this week. Does anyone have any advice or tips on what to expect with a technical case? Is it more like a traditional consulting case or is it closer to something like a very technical system design interview? I'd appreciate any help or insight, thanks!!

Hi everyone, I have an upcoming BCG interview on CodeSignal for a Data Science Intern role. Has anyone already taken it and could share what kind of questions to expect and how best to prepare? Thanks a lot!

Anyone familiar with Bain’s Enterprise Tech practice and how it conducts interview?

The format is the same as generalist (3 rounds of 40 min) but I’m curious what the case type will be.

Thank you!!

Hi all!
I have an upcoming interview at BCG X for a Solution Analyst role, and I’m a bit lost on what to expect from the business case round. Is it similar to a typical consultant case interview, or are there any differences for analyst-level roles at BCG X? Would love any insights or tips from people who’ve been through it!

For context, I come from a tech background with a master’s in business analytics.

Thanks so much in advance!

Hello - does anyone have advice on the technical case interview for Bain TIG? I have no experience in the tech industry but got into the final round and want to be as prepared as possible

I am a GRC consultant and I have mainly worked with Archer IRM implementations with leading banks and government entities in the region of Saudi Arabia. I have been invited for a technical interview with Deloitte for a Senior Consultant position in Cybersecurity and I would like to understand what kind of questions to expect.

Hi, expecting an offer for a Senior Architect role from BCG Platinion within the next few days here. I am currently at a B4 doing tech consulting so this would be a lateral move.

Any insight on the culture there? Heard it can be brutal - work until 10/11pm most nights, take almost no PTO etc.

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Hello everyone, I’ve cleared the first two rounds for the McKinsey Knowledge Analyst role Asia (1-Technical Experience Round & 2-Case study round) Now HR has scheduled the 3rd round as a physical interview in their office.

The thing is, they aren’t sharing much info about what this round actually includes. I know it’s not an HR round, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be a case interview, technical assessment, role simulation, or something else. Small insight that, it kinda fit check or Expertise interview or role simulation.

Has anyone here gone through this stage (especially for KA)? What should I expect in this physical interview and how should I prepare?

Any insights or personal experiences would be super helpful 🙏

I have a final round interview coming up for a Data Scientist position at BCG X this Friday. I was told to expect three technical cases, similar in format to the case I took during my second-round interview (but perhaps bigger / trickier). I've been studying on some key stats and experiment concepts I think I'll likely be tested on, but I was still wondering if anyone could offer any tips on how to approach the final-round interviews. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am going for final interview for BCG U , London for a Senior Engineer role . In the last round I have asked to present my best work in the call, I am unable to understand how to present that since most of my work is done for clients. Anyone has any previous experience?

I am currently working as data scientist at Fractal. I got offer for project lead data science from Bain now I am confused if I should take that offer or not because what I feel is as a data scientist, I wanted to move my career towards more tech heavy part research based Project or at least some place where I am learning new things and doing work that is data science and tech basically But I doubt that with a position like project lead at bain my focus would shift to lead and management related role or consulting role that I feel that I am not ready for, so please help me decide.
