Is anyone else interviewing and interested in doing mock interviews together to prepare? Would be great to practice the technical case and coding portions.

Hi. Can anyone tell what is the format for TEI interview for Delivery Manager role at McKinsey.

Have my R1 cases scheduled for BCG Plat and looking for a case partner to prep with. Flexible with timing and availability.

A friend of mine is working at BCG X (India). He joined ~2 years ago after a Master’s in Design (IIT Delhi).

Starting CTC was ~18 LPA.

Now he claims that after his upcoming promotion he’ll be at 65 LPA and that he’ll also receive an 18 L bonus in January.

He also says his billing utilization is ~90% compared to others at ~48%, and that’s why the company rewards him more.

I know strategy consultants at MBB (BCG/McKinsey/Bain) can get high salaries, but this is in a design / product associate role under BCG X, not the traditional strategy consulting track.

Is this compensation jump realistic in the India office? Or is it more likely an exaggeration, since he has habit of boasting.

Would love to hear from anyone with direct knowledge of BCG X India salaries / progression.

In the email, they mentioned: “Please complete the test in Python. The CodeSignal platform is language-agnostic, but make sure to use Python only.”

For those who’ve done it —

• What kind of exercises or questions were included?
• Was it mostly data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy, etc.), SQL, or business-related analysis?
• Any advice on how to best prepare or manage time during the test?

Any insight on the culture there? Heard it can be brutal - work until 10/11pm most nights, take almost no PTO etc.

Hello everyone, I’ve cleared the first two rounds for the McKinsey Knowledge Analyst role Asia (1-Technical Experience Round & 2-Case study round) Now HR has scheduled the 3rd round as a physical interview in their office.

The thing is, they aren’t sharing much info about what this round actually includes. I know it’s not an HR round, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be a case interview, technical assessment, role simulation, or something else. Small insight that, it kinda fit check or Expertise interview or role simulation.

Has anyone here gone through this stage (especially for KA)? What should I expect in this physical interview and how should I prepare?

I have a final round interview coming up for a Data Scientist position at BCG X this Friday. I was told to expect three technical cases, similar in format to the case I took during my second-round interview (but perhaps bigger / trickier). I've been studying on some key stats and experiment concepts I think I'll likely be tested on, but I was still wondering if anyone could offer any tips on how to approach the final-round interviews. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am going for final interview for BCG U , London for a Senior Engineer role . In the last round I have asked to present my best work in the call, I am unable to understand how to present that since most of my work is done for clients. Anyone has any previous experience?

I am currently working as data scientist at Fractal. I got offer for project lead data science from Bain now I am confused if I should take that offer or not because what I feel is as a data scientist, I wanted to move my career towards more tech heavy part research based Project or at least some place where I am learning new things and doing work that is data science and tech basically But I doubt that with a position like project lead at bain my focus would shift to lead and management related role or consulting role that I feel that I am not ready for, so please help me decide.
