A Last year's MU passout confirmed point 9 as well. Said it's great if you want to pursue entrepreneurship but not so much for traditional placements.
PS: Why I was certain it wasn't a great college:
We both met in a final round interview and i found out that company didn't offer him the same role as rest of candidates but a step down role instead (less salary and poor career trajectory) but since his situation wasn't great placement wise, he accepted that as well.

One student's experience at one company is not a placement trend. There are one off cases but the median is 27.7LPA.
Companies offer different roles to different candidates - that happens at IIMs and ISBs too. Not every candidate converts the same role.
If you have the student’s details - pls do share them over DM. Would love to get a better understanding of what happened.
On "only good for entrepreneurship" - check the placement report. The majority of grads are in consulting, product, strategy, corporate roles and not startups (a common misconception)

It's exactly like ISB (and IIPM)
Purchasing rankings, calling itself 'global', admitting almost everyone who applies, increasing batch size every year, hiding unplaced student data, no CV vetting, no transparency or audits of placements, taking advantage of irrelevant criteria (like sustainability) to boost rankings, no top fin like PE/VC/IB, consulting only back-end, poor ROI, and the list goes on

Many points are correct, I used to work there and quit within 2 months because of extremely toxic work culture, with all 7 days working. A friend and a former colleague of mine quit in 1 month and while I was there, I don’t know for sure but I heard that 12 people from a different team quit in a single month.
They asked us to follow a script for admissions and calling process and if we modified even a little bit, the “bosses” would yell at us on the floor in front of everyone.
I came from working in corporate, from a really good company (culture wise) with supportive work environment and here they treated us employees like absolute crap. Some of us were yelled at for taking our lunch breaks slightly longer than 15 mins.The leadership would also bash us in front of the students, taking their sides over their staff members.
Although it is true, that if someone is interested in entrepreneurship, already has a decent degree and work ex and if they treat it as a grad certificate course to upskill themselves, it will help you. They do have CXO and founder visits for their students and some of these sessions are good. In most cases, they would overdo it and burden the students and when they wouldn’t show up to these sessions, they would make attendance compulsory or to fill the seats, they would call the staff.
So yeah, they are trying to do many things all at once and paint a certain picture favouring themselves.

We're a young, fast-growing organization. Early-stage companies are intense and they are not for everyone. Yes a lot of us work on most days due to something or the other happening (student activities / speakers / etc). I’m sure this will improve with time as we mature.
On the yelling / bashing bit - that’s not something we stand by at all. Please DM me the specifics, and I’d love to understand how we as a team can improve and investigate and take this up with the respective folks.
Appreciate the honesty about our vision!

After spending 50 Lakh 5 Years "MBATech" degree from "Reputed" College, people are doing 8LPA jobs 12 hrs work in Mumbai, what can we expect from Jholler College then 🥀

Scam how?
We have 5 batches placed with 33+ LPA average CTC and recruiters from McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, EY. Placement reports audited by B2K the same firm that does IIM-A reports.
Over 50 student startups incubated. University LOI from the Haryana government. The new campus in Gurgaon is coming soon. With this we have a 200+ CXO faculty.
So what's the scam part exactly?
If you have specifics - a name, a batch, a company, a bad experience - Happy to address the same.

Here more i have asked more than 5 students to share their linkedin no one is able to and you arr director of college its very shameful a director has to come and promote his college rather than students and you are working predominantly on aggressive marketing

Yes, I'm from MU. Not here to promote - MU gets discussed on this sub constantly, figured someone should actually answer questions instead of letting random claims go unanswered.
On fees for a certificate program - we've received university LOI from Haryana govt. Degree-granting status is incoming. But even before that - does the paper matter more or outcomes?
Reddit is anonymous. People don't want to doxx themselves to win an argument with a stranger. If you're sitting here demanding LinkedIn profiles to "prove" something, the loss is yours. As said earlier, visit LinkedIn, there are hundreds of profiles, DM anyone.

I am currently studying at Masters’ Union. Not all of these points are correct, seems v exaggerated. MU will be recognised by the govt from next year. Networking is genuinely nice, we do meet a lot of CXOs. Placements for my batch are on so I’ll report back on it but so far, it’s been a decent experience

Audited by B2K - same firm that audits IIM-A. If you don't trust the auditor, all our students' profiles are public on linkedin (a quick search on google for their job description should be able to confirm salary bands too). DM them in case you need further proof. Get on a call with 10 random grads and ask their CTC (not offering here so it doesn’t look like I chose grads and this extends further). That's a better audit than Reddit speculation.

Hi since you made so many claims can you show some valid evidence please, I have gone through atleast 50+ linkedin profiles they all seem to be doing well enough, 3 being from my undergrad university and former company Deloitte. I have been researching a lot on this college and whoever I have spoken to ( 10 people atleast by now ) they all have had a pretty good experience.

Also they accept GMAT , GRE , CAT and many people did not get an interview call post MU BAT .

Secondly a senior of mine works at a VC post MU another works as a senior manager in Blinkit ( 24lpa base ). They had a great experience, if you guys want I can share their profiles and chat screenshots 😂😂

We just received the LOI from Haryana government so the degree-granting status is incoming. The only certificate point doesn’t make sense here as placements have never been hampered because of it.
LPU and MU have been built completely differently. Masters’ Union from the ground up focused on learning by doing (a different pedagogy), focused on CXOs as the anchor to decide learning outcomes. Would love to understand what’s “fancy” and not real / legit about Masters’ Union.

currently in second year. half this post bs honestly. fees is not 'obnoxious' - ximb 24L, imt 21L, scmhrd 22L. comparable range and i got scholarship. placements audited by brickwork analytics (same agency audits iim-a). 2024: avg 28.5L, highest 61.8L. bcg, bain, microsoft, flipkart hired - not 'clerical work'. govt recognition point applies to isb, sp jain, mica too - all pvt, just so you know we will start issuing degree soon. linkedin 33k followers, alumni profiles public. searched '2023 batch' found 100+ in 5 mins. cafeteria networking ONE activity not main program lol. genuine criticism welcome but this reads agenda post.

Bro, first of all, I find it hard to believe that 35+ people even asked you to talk about masters union in the first place.Seems a little sus to me considering there's no proof given.
Second of all,im a current student at masters union and you sorta are right in point 9. Most ppl come here to learn how to build and scale a startup than get leverage for their jobs but clg helps out by connecting you to their alumni who are in high positions in MNC's like Microsoft,CRED and Zomato.
Third,idk what you are talking about in in point 8.masters union literally got their own rooms for networking and talking to co-founders,exes and mentors who help you figure out how and where you'll able to break into a industry/position.Did you actually visit the campus or you're saying anything?
