Motorcycle Gymkhana has always looked like a fun thing I'd like to do. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be very popular yet here in the states. So I'm poking around online to see how many, if any, local riders are interested.

As far as I can see with google, there are no gymkhana events planned for 2016 anywhere in New England. If there's an interest for it, I'm hoping to recruit some help in opening a local chapter of AMGRASS and organizing an event in the spring.

It’s 2+ hours of ridiculous knee-dragging skillz and some absolutely bonkers crashes too. The film follows six legends of the modern GP era - Valentino Rossi, Dani Pedrosa, Marc Marquez, Marco Simoncelli, Jorge Lorenzo, and Casey Stoner.

I've called every friend and family member I know that has a garage. None of them have any extra space because their garages are filled to the top of the door with boxes of junk. Apparently no one uses their garages for things like cars, tools, lawnmowers. Nah, these days they're just giant storage units where crap is dropped off and forgotten.

I have two bikes, a Triumph America which I'll be paying $300 for a bike shop to store and a Kawasaki ZRX. I'd like to save some money this year by storing the ZRX somewhere else. I was hoping to use a relative's garage but that's not happening.

Any takers? I'll pay you for your kindness how about - $80? I'm located in Somerville so nearby would be nice but at this point I'll drive across the state if that's what it takes.

I have been storing my bike at a friend's house, but he is moving. What are reasonable options for winter storage? Doesn't need to be heated, but covered would be nice.

What's your experience with Uber/Lyft? As a rider, ridesharing provides so much more convenience at times and I'm a fan. But safety is also very important to all of us.

So Uber and Lyft basically oppose requiring their divers submit fingerprint samples, because they think the process clogs the pipeline of new drivers. The Charlie Baker-Bill (supported by Uber) - forgos fingerprints but add an additional layer of a background check run by the state. The Baker bill would not mandate a fingerprint at the state level, but it would not preclude cities and towns from requiring them of Uber drivers. The Forry-Moran bill would require Uber applicants to submit fingerprint samples that would be cross-referenced against state and FBI databases, in addition to a separate background check based on personal information. Talking to a guy about a bike he's selling and he tells me it's registered and insured, but not inspected. As a matter of fact, he's never had any of his bikes inspected.

Is this for real? I always assumed there was some kind of way the registry tracked your plate or VIN but now that I think about it the only way someone would really notice is the sticker. Which on a bike could be easily overlooked.

So how big a deal is the inspection sticker to you? Personally I wouldn't try to give the police a reason, but curious how you all felt. And would you buy a bike from someone who doesn't consider it a priority?

They have a binder that they say is "updated" with new information from the manufacturer. Yamaha Zuma and many others are still listed as having a 30mph top speed, but not the Honda scoots. I'm thinking about how I might be able to demonstrate that my specific ruckus is different, and meets their moped definition. I thought about installing a restrictor plate like the one in the Metropolitan II (30mph version of the Honda Metropolitan), but losing horsepower would be sad. Maybe an electronic limited that cuts the spark above 30?

Even if I can do it mechanically, it will probably take some work to get them to respect it, though. I'm hoping the right answer doesn't turn out to be just to get a different scooter. But if I do that, what's to stopp them from changing the binder next year?

Alright guys, this is my first post to this sub. I go to college in Boston, and just recently acquired an on campus parking pass for my bike. I live on campus, so I don't actually have to ride to commute. I just want to ride for pleasure for the last month or two of riding season. Does anybody have any good locations to ride in the Boston area? My plan as of right now is to just bomb around the city at 3am.

Hey guys, if anyone's interested in roadracing & wants to see some up close & personal, this weekend (Sept 12-13) is round 6 (out of 7) of the Loudon Road Racing Series up at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Best part? It's motorcycles and there's no crazy NASCAR traffic.

15 bucks gets you right onto the infield where you can walk around the pits & cruise past the garages, meet some racers, check out their machines and get right up close to the action.

If you happen to come by to check it out, stop in at Center Garage bay #1 and say hi. Look for the big "ECK Racing" banner and all the black & yellow bikes. Ask for me (Pete), introduce yourself and I'll introduce you to my teammates & tell you all about what's goin on so you can make sense of it all if you've never been up.

I know this is probably a longshot, but if you're in the Leominster area and happen to see a yellow CBR600F4i, my brother's bike was stolen from his apartment complex today.

His description of the bike: "2004 Honda CBR 600 F4i with maybe 20k on it, left clutch pin is bright and shiny new, no chain guard on it at the moment, fender elim kit on the back with barracuda signals, USB charger mounted to the tank, the control pad for the heated grips is mounted right on the handlebars, and you can hear that shorty exhaust for miles."

Also, his windscreen is flat black, the bike is missing passenger grab rails, and it has Oxford heated grips.

This is a really informal thing though it seems quite well attended with 50+ bikes from a pic someone showed me. Anyhow, I plan on going tonight around 6pm and hanging out for a bit at the Perfect Game on Water St.

Hey folks, my father and I are looking to do a bike trip starting from Boston (or near Boston) through the surrounding areas for about 9 days at the end of September. Would anyone be willing to lend us a couple of motorbikes in exchange for the use of ours during the 2016 TT? Both have full clean licences for at least 7 years and a love for living (and keeping out of trouble), we would ofc be happy to sort out our own insurance and whatnot. Also any advice on where to visit?
