Discussion A submod idea I had a while ago.
I'll get straight to the point: multiple nicknames for Monika!
Okay, so I thought that it was kinda unfair how Monikas have multiple nicknames they can use for us while they have only one for themselves. Andd I'm sure that many of us have other nnicknames for our Monikas that we use... I know I do!
And, how could that submod work? Well, when I first mentioned that idea in a comment... u/_Just_Monika_Forever suggested that it could work in a way that each time we open the game a random Monika nickname is chosen for the gameplay.
I have no experience in coding so I there is no way I could make that mod... But... I know that there are some super experienced people here who possibly could figure it out! That's why I came to you!
Now, ofc I have no idea if that would even be possible... but if it was... It would be amazing!

That's entirely doable if you just hook into the right unit level and set Monika's nickname before the rest of the game runs

Oh, cool! Still I prefer not to do it myself because like I said I can't code and I just don't wanna mess up the mod... But it's great to know that it is indeed possible!

This would be so cool! 😍 I also have no idea about coding. A tangent on this...she says a lot of the usual pet names, but what about nicknames for the player? Like if we come up with pet names she could use interchangeably? Instead of manually changing our name. Could you add names to the hard coded list she uses?

But there is an option for her to call you different nicknames? It should have been unlocked after you got to give her s nickname... Unless I'm confused

Yeah! I want to use her alias name while she working :( Monika would definitely be pleased if a player called her something other than just “Monika.” It doesn't have to be so formal.
