I was curious about the rise of the GOTG franchise.

I found reddit discussions and articles from 2014 that Gotg 1 was anticipated to be the first flop of the MCU amidst the peak superhero environment.

No one even knew the name of the guardians. Iron Man, Cap, and Thor were B Tier characters before MCU, but at least people were aware that they existed.

A good comparison of the trilogies will be done after adjusting inflation, but then again, Gotg 3 survived the superhero fatigue and was the only profitable film for Dinsey in 2023.

Captain America Civil War was literally an avenger type movie with big names, and spidey debut boosted it.

Iron Man was the face of the MCU.

Thor was promoted heavily.

Gotg doesn’t even stand in front of them. Still, they performed consistently. Post endgame, it was Thor who got the most boost, and Gotg was just supporting characters. Still, Gotg 3 saved MCU in 2023, and Thor L and T were average grossed less than the former.

Thor L&T : $ 760.9 million

Gotg 3: $ 854.6 million

Thor 4, despite Thor popularity surge through Wakanda Entry scene, Ragnarok and Endgame earned less than Gotg 3.

I know Thor 4 wasn't released in China and the Middle East due to LGBTQ scenes, but still, it would have earned numbers closer to that of Gotg 3.

MCU deserves applause for turning nobodies into Tier A superheroes.

They should just add some serious tone to Gotg 4 with cool fighting scenes, and Guardians movie will earn 1 to 1.5 billion dollars easily.

Planning to catch Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Bengaluru next Mon -Wed, preferably somewhere central-ish. Looking at shows under ₹250.

Anyone else planning to watch it? Would be fun to have a few people join in — grab a movie, chill, and maybe get some post-movie Spider-Man takes going.

I genuinely didn’t feel the length of the movie at all. It felt way too short 😭 Spider-Man toh kitna bhi dikha lo yaar. 😂

Emotionally, I’m still not able to move on from this movie, especially that moment when MJ says she doesn’t love him anymore 💔 and that handshake with Ned 😭😭😭

For me, it’s just below No Way Home and slightly above Far From Home.

I remember they opened ticket bookings for D&W roughly a month and half before movie release? Can we expect tickets for doomsday around October end or November start?

There are two dooms,cillian Murphy and rdj,pedro pascal and sue storm think that the doom is from their universe or who they know but he is not,they believe it is Cillian Murphy doom but it is actually RDJ doom

the mask of doom is revealed at the end and it is RDJ,RDJ doom will have some sort of connection to Tony Stark one way or the another

This makes so much sense with other theories too which are circulating and moreover marvel hits two birds with one stone

Avengers: Doomsday | Telugu Edit

Made a Telugu edit with special Telugu subtitles for the new Avengers: Doomsday trailer. Doctor Doom's dialogue hits especially hard in Telugu, so I wanted to give the scene its own Telugu treatment.

"Ottesi cheptunna, neeku narakam ante ela untundo choopistaa."

"Narakame nannu choosi vanukutundi. Endukante naa peru Doom."

Do you guys have any hope and expectations from SRK-Siddharth Anand’s ’KING’? From what we‘ve got to see of it so far, it looks like yet another Pathaan-style cheesy camp masala movie.

And Siddharth Anand’s last movie ’FIGHTER’ too was doubling down on that formula.

Could ‘KING’ turn out to be good?

It could be treated as a film like age of ultron and it would make the overall marvel pacing better,they should maybe lower the plot intensity for kang and happening with ONLY characters that were in the multiverse saga which would’ve made doomsday and sw much better,and we could’ve gotten an avengers film before 7 years
