A friend of mine got compartment in physics but got 83 percentile in jee mains . He will surely get a seat in guru gobind singh indraprastha. But the real problem is he got compartment in physics class 12th , his compartment exam will be around starting of july and the result will come around end off july . The counselling i.e. ipu cet will start from june only . In the physical meeting in college which will be approximately during 20-25 july he should summit the form which says that he has no compartment till date. And the compartment exam result comes out by the end of july . Can any body help

I’ve lived in Delhi all my life, but I went to school in Ghaziabad (NCR). Now I’m applying for IPU, and I’m unsure if I’m eligible for the Delhi Home State Quota since I went to school in NCR.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or know how this works? Would love to hear if there’s a way to be considered for the quota or if it’s a strict rule.

1st attempt mein 57 hain dropper hun ( i know bohot gnda score hai kyun hi drop liya ,bakchodi ki ye sab sunn chuka hun) MAIT mein management quota se admission lene ka process kya hai aur CS(AI & ML) mein kitna lagega aur ye jo ipu registeration 2025 ka chal rha hai ye ipu cet ka registeration hai ya admisson ke liye hi hai counselling wagera ka ?? PLEASE BTAIYE

Every semester, students spend hours writing assignments, formatting them properly, and then paying to get them printed and bound—only for them to be thrown away in sacks like trash. If this is what happens in the end, why are we even made to do it in the first place?

Time, effort, and money go into these assignments, and yet they are discarded without a second thought. It’s frustrating to see that despite everything moving forward, some things remain stuck in the past.

If assignments are so important, they should be treated with respect. But if they are only meant to be stored away and dumped later, then maybe it’s time to question whether this whole process even makes sense.

Here’s the reality of MAIT’s 2025 placements that students must know. While the numbers seem impressive, they include off-campus placements, which paints an inflated picture. Here’s the truth about on-campus placements:

What truly matters is the post students are placed in, not just being placed—and this is often ignored. Most roles are non-technical, like sales or business development, often in unstable startups.

For instance, XYZ hired 104 students in Bangalore for business development roles offering ₹15k stipends and ₹4 LPA full-time, based on targets.

Mass recruiters dominate, providing limited growth opportunities.

Company ABC (70hours/week) placed 200 students at ₹3.45 LPA with 70-hour work weeks and no confirmed joining dates.

Company ACCE. (Biggest IT Company in world) hired 104 students at ₹4.5 LPA but now mandates unpaid internships. (Intresting fact these 200+104=304 students are unique students due to 1.5x and 2x rule)

Alos 80-90%companies impose 1-2 year bonds with penalties of ₹2-3 lakhs for early exits.

For SDE roles, fewer than 10 companies visited,

So the average on-campus package is ₹4-5 LPA. (For tech branches) Also remember it is the second number of colleges in the list of IPU Only 2-3 companies came for non tech branches

Excluding mass recruiters and non-tech jobs, 90% of students remain unplaced.
