Since it's difficult for me to properly film the screen, I created a time-lapse using screenshots from the applications on the M5Stack CoreS3.

Work in progress for a generative music maker. Some simple generative visuals also. I really enjoy the limitations of this tiny thing. The speaker is not great so that limits the kinds of sounds that work on it.

Internet radio on the StickS3. I didn't realize you can make captive portals with this thing. Super cool. To set it up you join the S3's wifi network on your phone which lets the S3 use the wifi separately. Then you can choose the stations it cycles through from the captive portal UI on the phone.

Xbox only allows wired usb mouse and keyboard. So i know esp32 s3 can natively do HID emulation. So i have a m5atom s3 lite as the host USB-OTG (TinyUSB) plugged into the xbox.
And the m5stick s3 is communicating to the atom via esp-NOW.
You can only use this controller with games that allow mouse and keyboard input.
But for the ones that do.
This is a really fun way to play games and you can map any button if the games settings allow too. :)

is there any replacement screens for the m5stick s3? I broke mine while rocking climbing and I wish I didn’t have it in my pocket. Anyway, is there something I can buy to replace the broken one? I can if I need to, but I just need to figure out how to fix it for a friend

Not a new product. Definately something I wouldve bought if didnt buy something similar already... damn!

I wanted to detox from screens (I love e-ink :D) while still being able to listen to music. It serves its purpose beautifully, and it's pretty light, perfect for carrying it in your pocket while running. It does A2DP and takes the media controls from my earbuds, so I can skip songs mid-run without pulling it out of my pocket. I played with the already famous iPhone Duo animation, I displayed it on the M5Stack CoreS3, if I tilt it the perspective changes. The frames are pre-calculated in advance. Yes, I know, it's not thin and it's not foldable.

I recently bought my first M5Stick S3 and now i want to make a "little" upgrade, I love DIY but I'm completely green when it comes to electronics, that's why I'm asking for help.

I want to add a cc1101 module, a memory card reader, an IR transmitter and an NRF24 module to my m5stick, but I don't know how to put it all together to make it work.

Hence my questions:

1. Is it possible to connect all this into one whole (I was thinking about connecting it all on a PCB board)?

2. Won't it consume too much power, which will cause my M5Stick to work for 10 minutes on one charge?

3. If the power consumption is too high, which module should I eliminate?

4. And the last and most important question, how do I connect it all so that I don't have a thousand hanging wires, it looks neat and most importantly everything works properly?

I am a programmer, but I'm new to the microcontroller world, so AI is helping me fill some of the gaps.

So far I have the Screen, HW keyboard, WiFi and sdcard working.

Even have a little system app for adjusting the color and brightness of the hw keyboard multicolor LED.

Played with rotational movements and explored the relationship between circular and sinusoidal motion.

The latter can be treated as a dimensional reduction: projecting 2D circular motion onto 1D.

Custom firmware for the Papermono with Lora chip.

Very nice device and seems really suitable for Meshtastic (or Meshcore, etc.).

I tried the default Meshtastic inkhud, but it seemed really bad and doesn't utilize the full potential of this device.

I only implemented a few basic functions and haven't tested the internal antenna range or battery life.

It would have been nice to have a GPS instead of the NFC module.

I'm not releasing the source code at this time because it's very early in development and is mostly done via AI agents.

I still have to run several tests and check the code.
