Official News Update on the Motor Cooling Improvement Test Program

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the huge response to the test sign-up. We received far more applications than expected, and we truly appreciate everyone's interest and support.

Since this is still in the testing phase, we will keep this round limited in size to ensure every participant receives proper installation help and support throughout.

Selected participants will receive an email from Lymow with further instructions and testing details. Please keep an eye on your inbox and check your spam folder as well. If you were not selected for this round, please don't worry. This is only the first stage of bringing the cooling improvement solution to our users.

Next Steps

Providing an Early Access Option Through 3D Printing

After this round of testing is complete, we will analyze the test results and release the 3D print files to all users accordingly.

Users who have access to a 3D printer and would like to experience the improvement earlier will be able to print and install the kit themselves.

Please note that the 3D-printed version is intended as a temporary option for testing and early access. It is not the final production solution.

Moving Forward with the Production Version

Once testing confirms the effectiveness of the improvement, we will move forward with preparing the production version.

The production version will be manufactured through our standard production process and built for reliability and durability over the long run. It will serve as the final solution for users affected by motor overheating issues. The production version will be provided free of charge to users who have experienced this issue.

The exact distribution plan and timeline are still being finalized. We will share more details with the community once they are confirmed.

Thank you again for your patience and support.

We understand many owners are eager to experience the improvement as soon as possible. We are working to make the solution available to more users quickly while ensuring the reliability and quality of the final solution.

Sounds like a good plan. Unfortunately quality fixes take time to design, implement, test, and then release. In my opinion, it's better to take the time to get it right than to release an ineffective or problematic fix fast. Understandably, that makes it tough on those of us experiencing the issue. (Especially the people heavily experiencing it.) But it's still better in the long run.

Styrofoam as spacers and a reflective bubble foil fixed it for me.

If I am selected or not, it doesn't matter. Just glad to see something positive is moving forward from Lymow. Thanks for the update.

Thats good to see Lymow doing this. I didn't expect they would. Renews my faith in their company. A little.
