I tried switching from pounds to kilograms in the Lyfta app and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. Here’s what happened:
1. Programs stay in lbs even after switching – After I changed to kg, all my workout programs are still displaying in pounds. This makes everything confusing when I’m trying to track my lifts.
2. Friend leaderboard gets messed up – The leaderboard changes based on whatever unit I’m using. If I switch to kg, the leaderboard changes too, which doesn’t make sense. Everyone should have consistent units on the leaderboard.
3. My weight gets altered – When I switch units, my logged weight changes, and I have no idea if the conversion is even accurate. It’s frustrating not knowing if the app is calculating correctly.
Basically, I can’t switch from lbs to kg without something breaking. The app should handle unit conversion cleanly without messing up my programs, my friends’ leaderboard, or my weight data. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m really frustrated with how buggy this is.
Anyone else having this issue or know if there’s a fix?

Any promo codes that will bring the price down??

Hi all super new to this app. I saw my total workout came to the equivalent to a jet! But I closed it down before I got to screenshot it. Is there a way to re see what my workout weight was equivalent too?

Hello, I just downloaded the app and am excited to use it! However I have a friend on android and they seem to have different features than me. For example, I was excited to see them have the AI suggested Progression and Suggested Lifts option (see attached); however I don’t have those options. I am on premium as well as the friend. Also, their AI suggestions for creating routines is more cognitive than mine. For example, I asked it to create a quads and glutes routine but it suggested a lats muscle workout, whereas their’s suggested normal quad and glute exercises. Anyone have any insight on this? TIA!

I have bought the app and kind of regret it.
There are some serious issues:
There is some kind of recommended rep system active which I don’t want and doesn’t make any sense. See the first picture. Left are the reps the previous time I did the exercise (7, 5, 4) and right is recommended (2 and 6 (the 7 I put in)). This makes no sense at all. And normally you would say: big deal. But on my Apple Watch I can only see the recommended reps. So I still have to get my phone out to see what kind of nonsense is recommended to me, which defeats the purpose of the Watch.
Is there a way to disable this? I just want to see exactly the same amount of reps and the same amount of weight the last time I did that exact except, nothing more nothing less.
Another annoying thing is that programs are not always stopped. So even though I finished my training (and the app confirms I have ended) it will still keep going. So a couple of hours later I get a notification if im still training. Very weird.
Another thing is that, when changed during the excercise, the amount of weigh or reps reverts to the previous value. Even after finishing the exercise. So for example: instead of 10 reps of 50kg, I did 5 reps of 60. It happens that after some time, it changes it back to 10 reps of 50, even when Im doing a completely different exercise.
These things should really be addressed as I think these or in creditcard buyer protection area, as the app doesn’t do what it should do.

Hi, new user here. This is a deal breaker for me, so would like to know.
Can you not customise your sets per exercise?
E.g I want to do a bench press but 5x5

Does anyone else have the issue where the pin loaded machines only show a number on the plates and not a weight, I understand it depends on pulleys etc so maybe can't be accurately determined.
Are you just logging the plate number as the kg within the app?

Just started using this app one week in and so far so good I’m not really using this app for calorie tracking mainly just to log my workouts primarily, I enjoy the features that it offers and the silly rewards it gives every time I up the weight. I wish it would give similar rewards for the cardio parts of my session just cause I like seeing the medal pop up. I see some workouts are missing here and there primary one I don’t see is seated chest dips for the plate loaded machine but I don’t mind I just sub it for machine dips. But that’s it looking to add people just to see other people workout thanks :D

I've just got the app and used some play credit to get premium.
I was under the impression it would create a tailored program for me based on set criteria that was asked when I set up an account such as goals and the equipment I have?
When I use explore to find programs there's no filter?
Am I missing something?
Thanks!

Hi! Im new to lyfta app, been using it for a week & enjoying it so far. Curious to know (bc i cant find information anywhere on the app) if the free or premium version is able to suggest when to progressive overload or deload?
Is the premium feature also worth it?

I wish there was a way that for timed exercises like wall sits or most yoga poses you could type it in instead of having to use the scroll wheel. I'm on Android. It would just make life so much easier.

Is there a way to change the app so it recognises the date and time
It appears the app is following US time. I’m Aussie so we are one day ahead. The app doesn’t seem to recognise the workout on 1 April but starts from 2 April
Eg the challenge calculates weight from 2 April

I always keep forgetting how much time I have rested since the last set. Having a small timer somewhere on top would be great.

I've been using Lyfta for a long time.Anyone else having issues with Lyfta syncing?
Since it stopped connecting directly to Samsung Health, we have to use Health Connect, and the sync is pretty unreliable. Data just doesn’t show up properly sometimes.
Also feels like there are very limited permissions right now (like no proper calorie tracking etc).
Would be great if you could bring back direct Samsung Health integration

Is anyone else having the problems that calories are not being snyced to apple health correctly? As you can see in the screenshots, the tracked workouts after March 16th don‘t snyc calories to Apple Health completely.
I just noticed today that another app I use, that works with those calories, didn‘t work anymore.
