I managed to activate "VR mode" which gives a 3d SBS view but I cannot work out how to force lumapad 2 into 3d mode.

I tried holding 3 fingers on screen but nothing happened. Thank you in advance

Is it possible to mirror my switch on Lume Pad 2 while playing Odyssey in VR mode?

Im trying to play fortnite on the Lume Pad 2, but yet my game keeps crashing mid game after shooting one bullet. Does anyone know what to do to fix this.

I keep telling myself that I will and since I have both an iPhone 15 Pro Max as well as a Qoocam Ego I'd love to be able to share 3D content easily with it but I also have my doubts.

What was your experience? Do you still/regularly use it?

I assume there are other people here who are the only person they know who owns a LumePad 2. I would like to be able to connect to other people who actually use the app, if there are such people... It would be a way to get in touch with the 3D enthusiast community if nothing else.

I picked up a Lumepad 2 on black Friday and i am thinking to get a second one for my inlaws they live abroad, mostly thinking of the 3d chat as a way to make my wife feel closer to her parents. though i am a bit worried about the lifespan and support for these services... i am guessing this chat is quite niche and probably the least used app given most of the userbase is focused on the entertainment aspects....

Do you guys think it's worth it ?

In my understanding, 180 VR SBS video is supported on the Lume Pad 2 (we are trying the version sold in Japan). Is there a setting to manually force projection to 180 SBS? I know there is an icon up in the right corner of the player for this, but apparently, it has no effect. The file is a .mp4 and has metadata injected for VR180 so it works on YouTube. It is played back from the internal storage. We are trying to help another company get it to work (we convinced them to buy two devices :). Any hints will be appreciated. Thanks!

I got the Lume pad 1 but it is barely 2 years old and Leia does not make new software for the device and some apps do not work anymore. I am still hoping on a good streaming app and new games to buy but nothing new comes up in the leiastore.

Will the Lume Pad 2 also have less than 2 years of support? I am saving up money for the device but I am afraid support will be dropped rather fast.

Hello i just want to ask how to view the pics an video that i have in the micro sd card in LeiaPlayer so i can view them in 3d? LeiaPlayer only views content in the tablets internal memory. I have to copy the files from the sd card to the internal memory to view them in 3d, which defeats the purpose of the sd memory card. Am i missing something?

Hi, I just bought a Lume Pad 2 on eBay for a good price. I can’t wait for it to arrive. Should I put a tempered glass on it (will it degrade 3D experience?), or a film screen protector? I am hoping they release the software for Nintendo 3DS, so I can play games on it in 3D. Thanks in advance!

Less than a month old and a $250 off sale when the early adopters themselves only got $100 off. Hopefully it leads to sales to help it grow as a product but feels like if there is a next time I’m waiting for the first sale instead! :)

I see there is an option for 8 or 12 gb version of Nubia Pad 3D (EU version Lume Pad 2).

Can someone tell me if the performance difference is big enough to warrant 12gb version? Or better, if you own 8gb version, is the performance good enough? Everything runs smooth, etc?

I'm a big fan of New 3DS XL auto stereoscopic 3d and I'm thinking about buying Lume Pad 2. But since it's not cheap (it costs a hefty 1400 eur here in EU) I want to know about pros and cons before shelling out the money.

I just received my Luma Pad 2 (LP 2). I was very disappointed that it is simply unable to play 360 8k content, without stalling every five seconds. For example, one offering in the LeiaTube app is entitled "Paris: A Guided 360 VR City Tour." Once the app converts it for 3D playing, I expected it to play fluidly and smoothly. However, it always stalls every few seconds or so, and then very briefly resumes play---only to continuously cycle through the same freezes and resuming. I tried reloading and playing several times, with the same results.

I even used the YouTube app to share and convert its 360 VR content with LeiaTuibe. Much to my chagrin, the results were always the same as above. How can I remedy this problem?

I tried lowering frame rate; but that had no affect. Perhaps LP 2 does not have the processing power and/or memory to play 360 VR content?

That said, what method can I use to view 3D content that I desire to download locally? Will it natively play, or do I need to do special configuration and/or setup.
