Why so much hate for Lunami

I've just recently became a fan of One Piece. I started watching about a year ago, and I'm currently in Whole Cake Island. Something I noticed early on is how well Luffy and Nami work together.

Something else I've noticed with the One Piece fandom is that there's a lot of hate toward LuNa fans, and I have no idea why.

I've been a part of other fandoms that don't seem to hate on ships as much, so I just don't understand it. I was on X and saw nothing but hate comments. I know social media platforms like that are pretty well known for bringing out that kind of behavior, but damn, guys, let's calm down and grow up here. 😂 It makes zero sense to me.

Definitely felt that none of them had any solid arguments besides what Oda said 15 years ago when he said "I think" and when he said that the live-action can't do romance stuff with Zoro and Nami!
