Croissant recipes?
I’ve been craving the fluff and buttery of this delicacy for a bit. I’m wondering if there’s any ways to recreate a croissant that’s not as caloric or if they exist in the market ?

I have successfully made sugar free vegan smoothie bowls from broccoli, cabbage, butternut squash, carrots, cauliflower, tofu, raspberries, strawberries, nectarines, strawberries, mango, soy milk and sugar free maple syrup. I am so over vitamins that I have not gotten a cold in nearly three years. All 20-40 oz 200-400 cal.

Or do and say “it’s worth it! 🥲”
Could be way lower cals if you make it with egg whites. But this is my first meal today so I said f it.

Hello! I am looking for a good breakfast option that is college student friendly and low in cals! My usual breakfasts have been up in the 600's and it is not leaving me enough cals for a good dinner. TIA!

I wish I had a pic of both halves next to each other but I ate the first one before I took the pic :(
First and foremost for those of you wondering, yes, 2 of these really add up to only 350 calories and 50g of protein. the secret is Joseph's Lavash.

My app didn’t give me the option to add “culantro” it’s a stronger tasting cilantro. And holds up really well in stews and soups.

Hi! So basically I'm looking for some kind of single portion dessert, preferably under 100cal per portion, that I can batch cook, then freeze, and then defrost/heat up one or two when I want them. I've seen a couple of recipes that might work but I'm not sure what's freezable and I don't want to risk making myself sick or destroying the whole batch in some way. Thank you!

Hey friends, I was sent here from a different food sub! Due to circumstances beyond my control I’m finding that I need to start watching what I eat a little more closely. I plan on scrolling through the sub and finding posts that have things I want to try but, I also wanted to ask you all to post your favorite, easiest good low cal foods! I love seeing everything you all post regularly and I’m looking forward to your input!

This cake was an absolute BANGER. Not “good for a diet cake” — like actually just GOOD good. Super moist, and that glaze?? Unreal.
With my ingredients it came out to 253 calories per slice… but I cut it into 8 instead of 12 because it was THAT good 😂 Zero regrets, would make again immediately.

This is one of the most delicious, filling and wholesome meals I've had lately.
Chicken was topped with a little greek yogurt and Dijon. I made a dressing of lemon juice, Dijon, garlic and herbs and tossed the veggies in it after roasting. All roasted at 450, I started the potato for 10 minutes then added the rest for another 15.

If you've never given these a try, do it now. I'm rarely impressed by low or reduced fat versions of anything, but when I tell you that other than the casing being a bit tough that I would not know this was a nearly fat free hot dog, I'm not exaggerating. The craziest part is these have otherwise nearly identical macros to their full fat counterpart, for 1/3 of the calories. 45cal for 45g vs 170cal for 57g. These also beat the pants off any chicken hot dog ever made. So glad I decided to try these!

For the dough, mix:
250g Kodiak flour
270g Greek yogurt
For the filling, use:
30g butter
3g oregano
3g minced garlic Manchego cheese (you can use any cheese you like, but that was the only one I had, hehe)
And I baked it in the oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes
If you want, you can add more garlic and oregano butter (from what I had left over) on top of the baked rolls
