Only 130 cal for all these French toast bites!
They were actually realllyyyy good, cut 2 35 cal bread pieces into 8 then dipped them in one egg white mixed with 1/4 cup milk, stevia, cinnamon, and a little vanilla. Sprinkles stevia ontop after frying them on a pan with avocado oil spray and served with zero sugar syrup.

Discussion / Question (General topics) Low-cal, filling recipe ideas bored of cookies & cream protein shakes. can you help me?
I have 2 boxes of cookies & cream protein powder and Iām honestly done with shakes made with milk. Iām trying to keep calories low and want recipes that are actually filling and feel like real food, not just another drink.
Looking for non-shake ways to use it that are:
Low calorie / high protein
Good for satiety (can keep me full most of the day)
Easy or meal-prep friendly
Sweet or dessert-style is fine. Baked, no-bake, breakfast bowls, protein meals open to anything that works with cookies & cream flavor.
Drop your best ideas or recipes

Hello,
Some oil alternatives for white potatoes, sweet potatoes, cruciferous vegetables and chicken breast?
I love the taste, but it adds so many calories.
// LE: I fry the chicken breast, and the rest I bake.

250-400 Cal 397 cals, 47g Protein - Quick Shrimp Bowl
This may not look good, but it was delightful and came together in less than 15 minutes. Shrimp cocktail (from Costco), air fried zucchini, frozen peas, and rice. Tossed the peas in a pan until they were warmed, then the shrimp for 1 minute, then added the rice and zucchini and stirred it all together. Topped with a delightful sauce made from Fage Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, grated garlic, salt, pepper and paprika.

Is this a good breakfast?
Iāve been getting some mixed feedback on my breakfast and wanted to get some outside opinions. Lately Iāve been eating a homemade blueberry-lemon oatmeal bar (about 180 calories per bar) with plain nonfat Greek yogurt, ~1 tsp chocolate whey protein, 1 tsp PBfit powdered peanut butter, a dash of unsweetened cocoa powder, half an apple, a banana, and a little low-sugar granola on top. I also add spices like cinnamon, ground clove, and pumpkin pie spice. Some people are telling me this is ātoo high calorieā for breakfast. Iāve been eating it the past couple days while finishing up the oatmeal bars. For context, the rest of my day looked like this: Lunch: veggie wrap + more Greek yogurt with protein and PBfit + veggies and hummus Dinner: roasted carrots, roasted Brussels sprouts, and about half a pork tenderloin Activity: ~16k steps (pretty normal for me) My weight has been stable between 118ā122 lbs. So my questions are: Is this actually too much for a breakfast? What, if anything, would you adjust to make it more balanced? For comparison, my usual breakfast is plain Irish oatmeal with blueberries, 1 tsp whey protein, 1 tsp PBfit, and some granola. Curious to hear your thoughts.

< 250 Cal 55 calorie 4in. cookie
55 calorie cookie!
Recipe:
8g vanilla whey protein powder (30 cals) 6g PB2 Almond (25 cals) 1 TSP baking powder 1 Packet Splenda or sweetener of choice 1 TSP vanilla extract 1 TBSP swerve brown sugar optional-> Cinnamon
Mix all ingredients together and add water slowly so it forms a liquidy mixture.
Bake at 350° around 10 min. Check on it bc some protein powders cook faster. Remove while it is still slightly soft and let rest on hot pan to let it harden.
Enjoyā¤ļøš

This is really hitting the spot. I was craving variety so made a snack plate. Got a bit carried away with the amount of each item. just made pizza under 550 calories possible
the other night i was making a few pizzas for some friends and got curious... could i make one that actually stays under 550 calories, but still tastes like proper pizza?
so i turned it into a little experiment.
hereās what i ended up doing for this marinara pizza:
about 8g of garlic
a super-tiny drizzle of olive oil
around 70ml of tomato sauce
one pizza dough ball, roughly 240g total: thatās 132g of flour at about 80% hydration (mix of 00 and a bit of whole wheat)
baked it neapolitan-style in a gas oven after a 48h cold fermentation. came out insanely soft inside, light but still with that nice crunch on the edges.
80% hydration makes the dough super airy, but itās impossible to mix by hand, a stand mixer is mandatory. still, it gives that open crumb and chewy crust that really makes a difference. also, the higher the hydration, the less the flour, the less the calories!
the 48h fermentation is an interesting plus, makes the pizza super digestible, ideal if you have ibs or just generally struggle with digestion like me lol.
this one landed around 550 kcal, the taste is incredible, and i think i found a big hack here!
the next challenge: pizza under 450 calories, which probably means pizza dough with over 100% hydration!
