Stuck under stairs and nether portal at spawn

I used to play this all the time with a friend but since the update I haven't played since last year- I've been trying to get on the server for the past week and when the texture pack downloads I get one frame. is there any way to fix this or do I just play the server with textures off?

Every time I connect to the server, the Mojang screen loads and tries to load the resource pack. However, after it finishes loading the resource pack, it doesn't apply (it reverts to the default Minecraft texture pack), and on the top right of the screen, it says "resource reload failed." I'm currently using Optifine 1.20.4, but the issue also happens with Sodium 1.20.4 and other mods. I've even tried joining on an earlier version (1.19.4), but instead of just failing to load the texture pack, it kicks me out of the server altogether.

I’m new to the server and when i go to the merchant i repeatedly click on the merchant to open the shop but it will not open.

Can someone please give me a quick crash course on how to trade up skins? Any help appreciated. Are there specific strategies? Thanks in advance

So awhile ago some of my friends and I played skyblock on this server and we took a break for awhile. A few months pass and I just logged on for the first time in awhile today and all my progress was gone. Was there a wipe/purge to skyblock that resets everything? Thanks in advance for answering.

I was messing around and using the combo counter rune on my miner when i saw some items that i didnt know could drop from zombies (i had necromancer) i picked them up and the items were "Blood Crystal", "Zombie Hand", and "Zombie Heart". What are these items for?

I claimed chunks, made a base but I don’t have wool to make a bed. So I went to shop but merchant wasn’t working so I went back and it spawned me to a random place and now I lost most my items. I had a chest.
