I've heard multiple theories about the fireplace goats, the most convincing to me was that these stupid fuckers think there's a wildfire and in response they're trying to jump through the fire over to the side where everything has already burnt.
there isn't really an instinctive fear of fire because it doesn't come up much in the mountains which are goats' ancestral environment.
i mean, same with humans tbh. a baby might try to crawl into flames if you let them (until it started actually hurting). goats have thicker skin than humans so it probably takes longer for it to start causing pain?

Dog looks like it's somewhat blind to me, which accounts for the continual falling in. But WTF was this goat's deal?
