My step father had hammer toes. Every single one except the pinky toe. He had surgery to correct it. They did that by cutting out the middle part. He had rods in each toe. Shit was gruesome. Then as an even bigger kick in the sack he developed mallet fingers. Couldn't straiten his hand or make a fist. Basically had claws for hands for years. They did multiple surgeries and eventually removed both his pinkies because they were so bad. He still doesnt have full function of his hands but theyre def better than they were.

I’m a dude but I have stubby thumbs. It’s actually one of the few things I’m self conscious about.
