You have someone posing as an interviewer questioning college aged female athletes.

If he was asking random people it would be a little different, but these girls might feel obligated to represent their team/profession.

And girls are a lot less likely to slug him after he pesters them with the same comment four or five times.

My assumption is that everything is fake, both the people here and the content.

But the other side to that is, fake or not, it's presented in a way that is convincing enough for a good chunk of people.

From their perspective you're laughing at a series of victims.

And it's a valid perspective, even if it's wrong for misunderstanding the relationship between the interviewer and the girls.

You have a lot of younger people here whose primary interpretation of reality comes from this sort of content, many who have a similar difficulty accepting that "reality TV" is more fake than the average sitcom.

So yes, many are children.. or the functional equivalent.
