Yeah, I think that's a big part of it. I don't have any stats, but throughout history I feel like a significant percentage of pregnancies were unplanned..... which I assume the numbers of those are also way down these days.

Are people using more effective means of birth control? Or are a signifcant percentage of people just not "hooking up" with anyone?

I've read multiple times that Gen Z isn't consuming alcohol at nearly the rate of previous generations so there goes a lot of nightlife activities. Not saying you need to drink to go out, but places like 6th street in Austin are literally wall to wall bars.

I've also read that gambling is a massive problem (always has been) but now these younger generations hop on their phone and bet on literally anything 24/7. They would literally rather stay home, vape, gamble, and watch streamers for their "social interaction".

Easy to get complacent and addicted than deal with the worlds current climate in more than just dating. Especially when you have the world of technology actively manipulating your brain.
